After realizing that people thought Arbys mainly served roast beef, the company made a poster showcasing a large stack of all the meats on the menu, which includes bacon and brisket, according to The Washington Post.
It worked.
People started coming in and asking, Can I have that? Arbys vice president of brand and corporate communications Christopher Fuller said.
Arbys decided to go with it, and the Meat Mountain was born. It will not be listed on the menu, but store associates will make it for the customers who request it. At $10, the sandwich includes (from the bottom up) two chicken tenders, 1.5 oz. of roast turkey, 1.5 oz. of ham, 1 slice of Swiss cheese, 1.5 oz. of corned beef, 1.5 oz. of brisket, 1.5 oz. of Angus steak, 1 slice of cheddar cheese, 1.5 oz. roast beef and 3 half-strips of bacon all on a bun.
The sandwich doesnt fit in the regular clamshell packaging, so if ordered, it comes wrapped in paper.
Cool !
I don’t see why it has to be polluted with the fried chicken tenders, either.
Muslims will be outraged.
Just tried out a BBQ joint past the Raleigh, NC airport called Smokey’s. Got their dry rubbed smoked wings and the meat fell off the bone when I would pick one up. Combined with their homemade macaroni and cheese and fried okra, warm banana pudding and sweet tea, everything in the universe completely centered and for one brief moment, the world was at peace.
OOPS! Did I say corn syrup? I meant ethanol. Bad for boats, good for people.
I’m going to defend Arby’s. Sure, there’s a lot of junk with HFCS on their menu but there are choices. Their $3 beef sandwich with the choice of a good quality rye bread is a bargain. Even with this, their cheapest sandwich, the meat is real beef, tasty enough, and a good sized serving.
the meat is real beef
....
LOL. There’s a lot of things that can be called “beef.”
They should leave off the chicken strips - but otherwise it looks good!
Now that’s “Shovel ready”.
I feel sorry for folks who have no choice but to go to fast food places for deli sandwiches.
Thank God Baltimore had Corned Beef Row downtown back in the day, and that they have opened good delis all over town as a result of the demographic shifts.
LOL!
Now that's fine eating!
Thanks for the ping!
Sounds intriguing...
And it has the added benefit of ticking off the busybodies.
I am fricking crying. Tears. Literal tears of laughter.
lol...that’s great. :)
