Jerry Brown: Affluent Families 'Not Producing' Children
CNS News ^ | 08/11/2014 | Penny Starr

Posted on 08/12/2014 8:49:35 AM PDT by Rusty0604

“I don't know what the affluent families are doing,” Brown said. “They're not producing or something, because half the kids in schools are from low-income families.”

At the conference, held in San Diego, Calif., in late June, Brown said California had addressed the fact that millions of children in the state’s school do not speak English.

You have to do more to be able to create that opportunity and that pathway for those families that are not having that same skill of speaking English as others,” Brown said.

“It’s pretty amazing,” Brown said. “I don't know what the affluent families are doing.

“They're not producing or something, because half the kids in schools are from low-income families,” Brown said.

Brown also spoke about immigration and “brown power.”

After giving a jumbled history of Spanish and Mexican occupation in California before statehood, Brown said power always shifts, including in the United States.

“The point is, you never keep control forever,” Brown said. “There’s always new waves coming.

“So you’ve got to stay ahead of the wave,” he added. “That’s what we call brown power.”

“I don't know what the affluent families are doing,” Brown said.

Well Jerry lets think about this for a second - what else do 'affluent' (read middle class) families do that low income ones don't?

Pay taxes, maybe? Don't exist on public subsidies, maybe?

Its not brain surgery, Jerry.

The government and the entertainment media reward bad behavior and punish the good.

They don’t speak English because they don’t want to, and are not required to do so. Mexicans love Mexico, and speak Spanish. They are not Americans in any meaningful sense, like Obama.

Mining the capital that others earned.

Griswold v. Connecticut, 381 U.S. (1965), is when the SCOTUS suddenly FOUND the Constitutional right to privacy.

Of course that right allowed for contraception to be used because it was a secret that could be kept because of the ‘right to marital secrecy’ Some how the prohibition of compelling a spouse to give witness in court against the other spouse and the requirement for the government to get a warrant to search ones home and papers morphed into a right to privacy.

Of course any rational person understands that contraception and abortion go hand in glove with one another.

Of course the right to privacy only extends to ones genital regions and how they are used. It doesn’t protect against an agent of the government sexually assaulting you at the airport or tracking every phone call, computer key stroke or website you may decide to visit. Those aren’t important rights like the privacy to conspire murder of another human life.

>>“They’re not producing or something, because half the kids in schools are from low-income families.”

They are producing GDP and money for taxes, so the low-income kids can be lured to the United States from their Third-World POS country to become future Democrat voters.

They are working hard to maintain a standard of living that the Progressive Elite (of both parties) want to destroy for all but themselves. They have decided to cut children out of the budget to afford the toys that they are told they need to be happy.

Sounds to me as if he is just passing control over to the immigrants.

Dear Jerry:

You are right about affluent and mostly white people not having enough kids. The good news is that means fewer Republican voters in the future. And, as you noted, many young kids don’t speak English. Not to worry, they will grow up to be solidly behind the Democrats agenda.

But you seem mystified as to what caused this fortunate turn of events. I’m surprised that you don’t know but since you don’t I will summarize. Here is the version I use for non-Rocket Science majors:

1. Raise taxes on the middle class to a level that causes them to put off marriage until they are in their thirties.

2. Keep those taxes high to minimize the possibility that middle class couples can afford more than one child.

3. Allow mass illegal immigration into this country of people motivated to have as many U.S. citizen children as possible.

Simple and effective.

Oh, they’re producing alright...you don’t get to 1.34 BILLION children killed, just since 1980, without them producing.

I should apologize. I found humour in a post and it just took off. I humiliated a fellow FReeper based on a typo that anyone could have made.

I am sorry.

Ehrmmm... How about speaking directly to the fact that the more than half referred to do not speak English (American, actually) is because THEY AND THEIR PARENT(S) ARE HERE ILLEGALLY!

How's that for addressing the fact, you simpering git?

(not you, mate, I'm addressing Brown.)

That was my thought.

No “affluent” family that can afford an alternative would send their kids to a public school.

About half a million California kids attend private schools, compared to a little over 6 million in public schools. 60% of those schools are religious schools. Overall private school attendance is down about 4% over last year.

Try 6! You can make a boatload of income and be pretty much tax free, in the 2% effective tax range.

How about everyone has to go to college to get that good job. Ok, got the job so now life is about me. Uhoh, now I am 40 and it is still about me but I better get married. We now might squeeze out 1 kid if WE (more self) really feel like it. We have the kid and are now afflluent so we give the kid every thing there is. Now spoiled child, almost grown repeats steps of selfish parent, only with more attitude. But, think about it, do we really want more Kennedys.
