“President Uhuru Kenyatta has said the world should not shun the people of West Africa.
In response to calls for the national carrier Kenya Airways to stop all flights to the three countries worst hit by the Ebola Virus Uhuru said “Ebola is there but we will conquer.We will defeat it.”
The President’s statement comes hours after Kenya Airways CEO Titus Naikuni said the airline will not suspend flights to West Africa despite fears that the virus will spread to Kenya.
Kenya Airways will not suspend flights to regions worst hit by the Ebola virus, CEO Titus Naikuni said on Thursday.
Naikuni told a press conference at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airports VIP lounge Thursday, that the flights to West Africa will continue despite calls to suspend them over fears that the virus will spread to Kenya
Naikuni said KQ is a responsible citizen of this country and can’t knowingly put this country in danger Naikuni on Ebola Crisis
