Nome is used to rowdy residents, but some relatively new transplants are making a real nuisance of themselves -- although unlike the colorful characters of the early 20th century gold rush days, these visitors have four legs, not two.
Musk oxen are wandering into the city on the Seward Peninsula, and despite loud noises, water hoses and even a blow-up bear coated in ursine urine, they don't want to leave.

Waking up and finding that you live inside an 8 bit video game and are about to be sucker punched by a blocky but workable rocket powered glove.

Or “ABBoDs”.
Prounounced like “Rabbods” with the implied ‘ before the A.

Ping to 3310 and 3318.
Country songs don’t have rabbit apocalypses.

Used already, a one shot wonderweapon that didn’t erase the threat!
For want of a few carrots and parsley we lost the East Coast..

Find a few Cajuns and rednecks, tell ‘em hunting season is open, there’s no bag limit, and they taste like chicken. Problem solved.

You did comment on the dragons back there in Ohio. I actually sighted one on Thursday right before I left. It was leaving a plume of dragon breath in the air...
It kept hidden for a long time and all I could see was the black vapours of its breath showing above the trees..

You are the 3333 winner!
This day is turning unnngh. I’m threatening to go to Walmart for wine (and cat litter), but maybe I’ll control myself until I can put everyone including myself to bed, around 8:00.

i’m guessing that this Dragon is Coal powered.
That looks like a pit head winding gear in the background to me.
So did you actually get to see the Dragon?

You are correct. This dragon is on an exclusive diet of bituminous.
After waiting for a while I heard the dragon snort two times, followed by some strange snuffling huff sounds, then it uncloaked and came into view..

What a beautiful sight.
The only ‘merican locos i’ve ever seen have been static and cold.
Is that on preserved line or ‘national network’?

“Easiest hunting ever.” said Delacroix.
“I agree.” responded a voice behind him that distinctly was not his friend.
