News is leaking out from Hollywood executives in-the-know that the Obama White House had been leaning on, pressuring executives at NBC for the last two years to replace Jay Leno because the comedian was criticizing President Obama every night. Obama didn't like it and considered it a racist attack on him.
Although it didn't meet the legal definition of "child molestation" it is,IMO,just about the moral equivalent of it.In short Letterman was discovered to have had a long term carnal knowledge relationship with a female subordinate who was young enough to be his granddaughter.
I figure that if Dirty Harry can accuse Romney of not having paid taxes for 10 years I can accuse Letterman of being a child molester.
Well, he’s a narcissist so don’t think there was ever a chance for a thick skin for him.
Obama and the other democrats behave like bad 3rd graders.
Remember the Thomas Payne actor who was doing the u tube videos when ozero was first elected? He got called to some special meeting and was never heard of again.
I believe it. Comcast/NBC/Universal is totally in the tank for Mullah Baraq.
This approach is simply the manifestation of a thorough understanding of Alinsky methodology. They understand the power of ridicule, so while it is important to ridicule one’s enemies, the corollary is to ensure ridicule of one’s self is suppressed and dealt with as harshly and as quickly as possible.
You're right, and it made me think about the Edward Snowden affair.
In a recent recent Snowden TV interview, Snowden said ... "Sometimes to do the right thing you have to break the law."
Snowden has done a great service for America.
Gee, Hillary disses bossman, now Hollywood execs in the know about things NBC fire off about Barry’s hateful, tyrranical actions.
SCOTUS reverses Zero’s “recess” recess appointments with all the ramifications of undoing those appointments’ actions. That might bode quite poorly when a court-case against Barry shows conclusively that he has been ineligible. Would that fear be the real reason 0bambi tries to denigrate Bainer’s actions by calling it “a stunt”?
Let there be a flood of damning tell-alls!

NBC plays the long game with their 2nd most valuable franchise, The Tonight Show. (The most valuable is morning program Today.)
Leno’s ratings were solid, but number crunching showed his audience was getting older every year. Yes, he was growing his audience... but not the KIND of viewers NBC wanted. They don’t want old people.
So they fired him the first time and put ten-years younger Conan in the chair. (Leno announced his “retirement,” but he was fired.)
Conan attracted neither young NOR old, so he had to go. Jay came back. But that was just to stop the bleeding. Leno Redux was a placeholder. NBC never stopped looking for a younger guy to succeed him.
Enter Fallon. Convinced he could do what Conan couldn’t, NBC fired Jay a second time. (”He announced his ‘retirement.’” Again.)
Leno didn’t want to leave either time. He was forced out by ratings considerations. Not the raw number of viewers. But by the AGE of his viewers.
NBC believed the long-term profitability of The Tonight Show would be compromised by allowing Leno to remain in the chair any longer.
Those considerations are much, much bigger than who happens to be president. That had nothing to do with it.
“It just came out that President Obama brings a portable security tent with him on overseas trips so that he can read classified documents. He sets up a tent in his hotel room. Obama said it’s a good way to avoid being spied on while he keeps track of who he has spied on.” Jimmy Fallon
“President Obama celebrated his 52nd birthday yesterday. You can tell he’s getting older because he no longer supports President Obama.” Jimmy Fallon
“Another scandal hit the White House today. A report found that the government has been secretly collecting the phone records of Verizon customers. I knew something was up when I said, ‘You hang up first.’ Then my wife said, ‘No, YOU hang up first!’ Then Obama said, ‘Uh, how about you just hang up at the same time?’” Jimmy Fallon
“President Obama recently came under fire over the lack of diversity in his cabinet. Then Obama said, ‘You guys know I’ll be there, too, right?’” Jimmy Fallon
“The White House announced that the theme for President Obama’s inauguration will be ‘Faith in America’s Future.’ Which is proof that no one in the White House has ever seen ‘Here Comes Honey Boo Boo.’” Jimmy Fallon

Only about 2% in total. But they're up 34% in the 18-49 demographic, which presumably means that they've collapsed outside of that demo. I guess the network was looking for younger viewers.
Now THOSE are funny.
And not funny.
Now that we’ve had the opportunity to laugh at somebody having the guts to say what’s real, when do we as a country get the chance to cry over the fact that those things are real - right before we roll up our sleeves and work together as a people to CHANGE it?
When does the country get to cry over Obama agitating for a Muslim “protest” that killed 4 Americans - 2 of them bravely fighting to save the lives of others?
When do we get to cry over 20,000+ Manpads falling into the hands of terrorists because Obama decided to oust the Libyan leader who was providing the most intelligence on terror networks at the time, and open the pathway for Islamist extremists to take over the country? Well.... I suppose we’ll get our chance when one of those Manpads brings down a 747 every day for the next - what was it? 50 years?
When do we get to cry over the drug cartels coming in while the Border Patrol is changing diapers because of a “surprise” invasion that the regime was planning for 6 months ago? Oh... maybe when it’s one of OUR loved ones who is beheaded (the drug cartels just LOVE their terrorist allies’ methodologies) and thrown in a shallow mass grave. Or maybe when it’s one of OUR loved ones who gets a disease that was all but eradicated until now...
Etc.
A laugh is good, and it’s good to be able to laugh in the face of this regime’s blatant criminality and enmity with “the land of the free and the home of the brave”.
But laughing at the open pits with the emaciated bodies from the concentration camps is ultimately not the right response - especially if the people running the camps are still operating freely and supposedly legally.
We need to laugh at the wit of the presentation, and then we need to fight. Together, with all our hearts and all our energy.
I don’t think Comcast is as in the tank for the left as some entertainment companies.
Comcast fired Keith Olbermaan off MSNBC the same day Congress approved their purchase of NBC/Universal.
What?? "Old" people are the ones with the money. We're the ones who have been gainfully employed for 30 or 40 years while the country's kids (and particularly grand kids) are on disability. We're the ones who can afford to fly...and buy a BMW...and buy expensive jewelry.
There's a risk in that. Young viewers can be fickle.
White, Christian, family man, Business owner, former military and this butthead says I am racist cause of it???
Hey obammy f-you you garbage.
Collapsing in the non-paying demos is fine if he’s up 1/3 in the money demo. 18-49 is the butter demo, that’s the people who spend money on what they want instead of what they need.
In a lot of cases, old people end up subsidizing their kids and grandkids, who make their own purchasing decisions.
Luckily Jay put away a little for a rainy day. He might not be able to buy as many rare cars now but he has a huge collection already.
