I wore a blue t-shirt with an Atmerican flag displaced today.
Every time I see an article honoring our troops tears flow - good thing I have Bounty towels available near my computer.
I will always honor our military members as they serve our nation - no matter what our military has fallen under our POS.
Praise The LORD for our military serving our great nation - despite the POS in command!!!

Sorry for the long absence, I’ve had another bout in the hospital. This time I actually got a name for it. Colitis Ileus. It has taken me some time to pop back. Have a whole bunch of doctors to see, started yesterday with my internist, gastro is next. I also go twin hearing aids. Never knew I was missing so many sounds!

Let Me Be Singing
Sept 6, 2014
Read: Psalm 150
When I asked a friend how his mother was getting along, he told me that dementia had robbed her of the ability to remember a great many names and events from the past. Even so, he added, she can still sit down at the piano and, without sheet music, beautifully play hymns by memory.
Plato and Aristotle wrote about the helping, healing power of music 2,500 years ago. But centuries before that, the biblical record was saturated with song.
From the first mention of Jubal, the father of all those who play the harp and flute (Gen. 4:21), to those who sing the song of Moses, the servant of God and the song of the Lamb (Rev. 15:3), the pages of the Bible resonate with music. The Psalms, often called the Bibles songbook, point us to the love and faithfulness of God. They conclude with an unending call to worship, Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Praise the Lord! (Ps. 150:6).
Today we need Gods ministry of music in our hearts as much as any time in history. Whatever each day brings, may the evening find us singing, To You, O my Strength, I will sing praises; for God is my defense, my God of mercy (59:17).
Lord, I dont know what will come this day or
farther into the future, but Im grateful that Youre
by my side. Grant me a spirit of praise and
thanksgiving in whatever lies ahead.
Praise to God comes naturally when you count your blessings.
The last five songs of Israels hymnbook are also known as Hallelujah Psalms, because each of them (Psalms 146150) begins and ends with the refrain Praise the Lord (Hebrew Hallelujah). Psalm 150 answers three important questions: Who should praise God? (vv.1,6). Why should God be praised? (v.2). How is He to be praised? (vv.3-5). The psalmist calls on everything that has breath to worship God (v.6)including creatures on earth and angels in the heavens (v.1). We should praise God for what He has done (His mighty acts v.2) and for who He is (His excellent greatness v.2). We are to praise Him with our voices, with the accompaniment of all kinds of instruments, and with dancing (vv.3-6). Let everything that has breath praise the Lord (v.6) is indeed a fitting final doxology to God.

Happy Caturday/Dogurday, Friends.
Hope you are enjoying the weekend.
Marissa's High School lost its second football game last.
Since she didn't know the final score, I can only assume she just goes to hang with friends.
Thursday was Back to school night and all of her teachers told me she is working hard and doing good.
She went out for tennis and seems to enjoy it.
Since she is a beginner, she does not participate in the away games.
Last week, a team member was sick so Marissa traveled with the team.
Hugs and prayers for all our hurting FRiends.

Thanks, Trish.
Hopefully the team will improve before league starts.
She keeps me on the go. The choir has several performance this year. A couple are at 8:00am. I will not be attending them. LOL I’ll be lucky to get her to school by 6:30.
I will post her 8th grade graduation picture a little later.
Have a beautiful Saturday, Trish.

Thanks, Trish.
She has never been a shy child; in fact she doesn’t know a stranger.
At school concerts, she does not hesitate if asked do a solo. She wants to be a STAR!!!
