A couple says they were told not to come back to a restaurant in East Texas because theyre gay.
In the town of Pittsburg, Texas, Big Earls Bait House and Country Store is an institution. So Collin Dewberry and his partner Kelley decided to have breakfast there. He says everything seemed to be going fine until they paid their check and were approached by their waitress on the way out.
She told them the rules are on the door and it says Welcome to Big Earls where men act like men, women act like ladies, no saggy pants and we reserve the right to refuse service to anyone.
And so I laughed and I asked what do you mean? says Dewberry. And thats when she said to us to put it plainly, we dont serve fags here.
Big Earl Cheney, the owner, says the reason Dewberry and his partner were asked not to return was because of their actions.
What I saw was one of them half way under the table with his legs stretched out into the other guys lap. And he kind of looked really possum eyed at me as they say it in East Texas, he kind of looked at me like uh-oh.
Cheney says he refuses to admit the couple back into his restaurant.
He continued, Im not gonna have people coming in here with their butt showing; Im not gonna have people coming in here naked; Im not gonna have people coming in here having sex on the tables.
Dewberry maintains they were doing nothing wrong and were discriminated against.
Nobody deserves to be treated disrespectfully at an establishment that just seconds ago accepted their money.

And I'm completely fine with that.
Of course, we see the gay parade descending on his establishment. And like every white, straight dude, it will probably cost him his business.
(1) The money was for the food. It wasn’t for a ticket. (2) The sign on the door.
Queers as negros.
Thats the narrative.
Its a civil right to be a pervert, and everyone else has to genuflect to you.
Sounds like trolling for a law suit.
If you want sex with breakfast order room service.
I can remember a time, long, long ago, in a far away galaxy, a planet where this sign was quite common:
“We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone.”
Imagine what they do to blog pimps!
You have no right to free association any more. This owner will lose. Which is not the same as saying he should acquiesce. There a more subtle ways of discouraging perverts from patronizing your establishment, including summoning some local “regulars” who may take violent offense to the presence of bungholers in their midst.
The difference between homos and racial minorities is that there’s no way to “tell” that someone or some couple is homosexual except by their actions.
Don’t crawl into another guy’s lap while eating in the restaurant and there’ll be no problem.
I have a hard time believing that the incident happened exactly as described. I bet there is more to the story, such as intimate behavior which belongs behind closed doors, which caused them to tell these guys not to return.
I seriously doubt the waitress said “we don’t serve fags here” in those exact words.
But that defeats the whole purpose of being homosexual these days, apparently.

Sounds like a place I’d like to go to.
Yeah, the Public Accommodation aspect of the Civil Rights Act means that private property is no longer private if it is a public business. Signs that state they can refuse service to anyone are purely a delusion.
It wouldn’t shock me in the least if the butt pirates set up the place because they expected that outcome and wanted to win a juicy lawsuit.
Honestly unless they started doing something overt how would the staff have even known they were gay?
I.don’t.care.
