....The rapper and reality star were ,married by Pastor Rich Wilkerson Jr. from North Miami, according to the Sun-Sentinel....
Wilkerson runs a ministry out of Trinity Church which has locations in Miami Gardens and North Miami. He calls the couple his friends.
On Sunday, CBS4 spoke with some of the churchs members about the big news....
I want to say congratulations and theyre a role model to the church, said Andrew Dumas who also attends the church.

I never really thought she had them in the first place.
The Gabor sisters were 10 times better looking than the Kardashians
You simply could not be more wrong.
This pastor has spoken at my church several times. In fact, he is married to my pastor’s daughter.
He is a deeply devoted, scripturally sound man who cherishes the Word of God and preaches it without compromise.
The word is that Kim and Kanye are beginning to search for Jesus and that he is in the process of opening the Scriptures to them to facilitate their new Faith.
They may ultimately stay in the world and turn away from Christ, but for the time being, they are being spiritually fed by a man who loves the Lord without reservation.
Agree with your statement, but who cares a rip about Kardashians
First cousin, once removed.
David's Wilkerson's children would be second cousins to Rich Jr.
I want to say congratulations and theyre a role model to the church, said Andrew Dumas - the fact that this guy said this quote shows there is a serious lack of biblical teaching at that church.
I guess some pastors are more interested in their worldly friendships than teaching from the Bible.
Be that as it may, the web site of Trinity Church seems to lack a certain little thing that makes a church, any church, Christian. Where is Jesus?
The web site looks like that of a social club more than anything else.
You have to dig deep to find a statement of beliefs on the web site.
Too bad, too. David Wilkerson was a godly man.
I couldn’t find it, can you give me a link?
If I want to see the play Annie I do know I can catch it at this church.
This reminds me of the various televangelists who flocked and fawned over (and some still are) the Downeys. . . Son of God movie producers.
If there is evil present, it’s easily seen in the hearts of those who would slander a pastor for leading a couple to Christ and for not having the right things on his web site. I don’t know him, and he may misguided, but throwing arrows from a distance when we really don’t know him is the work of the devil. His love and devotion to the Lord could easily put ours to shame.

Looks fairly straightforward pre-mil, pre-rapture pentecostal.
He needs to spend more time pastoring his flock if some of them feel that these two are ‘role models’.
We Believe ...
The Trinity Church STATEMENT OF FUNDAMENTAL TRUTHS accepts the veracity of the Bible as the inspired WORD OF GOD. Salvation is through the death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ, who is also acknowledged as the HEALER of the body and the BAPTISER in the Holy Spirit, a present-day experience for all believers. Trinity Church members believe that the gifts of the HOLY SPIRIT are for the Church today and that those who are born of the Spirit should manifest the fruit of the Sprit. We also believe in the personal return of JESUS CHRIST to receive unto Himself the Church and to reign in power and glory.
THE TRINITY CHURCH STATEMENT OF FUNDAMENTAL TRUTHS:
THE BIBLE: We believe the BIBLE, as originally given, to be without error, the fully inspired and infallible WORD OF GOD and the supreme and final authority in all matters of faith and conduct.
THE TRINITY: We believe that the Godhead exists co-equally and co-eternally in three persons...FATHER, SON and HOLY SPIRIT and that these three are one GOD, sovereign in creation, providence and redemption.
THE SAVIOR: We believe in the true and proper deity of our LORD JESUS CHRIST, in His virgin birth, in His real and complete humanity, in His sinless life, in His authoritative teaching, in His substitutionary and atoning sacrifice through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, in His heavenly intercession and His second advent to receive His church.
THE HOLY SPIRIT: We believe in the deity of the HOLY SPIRIT who proceeds from the FATHER and the SON and the necessity of His work in conviction of sin, repentance, regeneration and sanctification, and that the believer is also promised an enduement of power as the gift of Christ through the BAPTISM in the HOLY SPIRIT with signs following. Through this enduement the believer is empowered for fuller participation in the ministry of the Church, its worship, evangelism and service.
MANKIND: We believe in the universal sinfulness of all men since the fall, rendering man subject to God’s wrath and condemnation.
SALVATION: We believe in the necessity for salvation, of repentance towards God, and faith in the LORD JESUS CHRIST by which the sinner is pardoned and accepted as righteous in God’s sight. This justification is imputed by the grace of God because of the atoning work of Christ, is received by faith alone and is evidenced by the FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT and a HOLY LIFE.
THE CHURCH: We believe in the spiritual unity and the priesthood of all believers in Christ and that these comprise the universal Church, the BODY OF CHRIST.
THE MINISTRY: We believe in the ministries that Christ has set in HIS CHURCH, namely, APOSTLES, PROPHETS, EVANGELISTS, PASTORS, and TEACHERS, and in the prsent operation of the manifold GIFTS OF THE HOLY SPIRIT according to the NEW TESTAMENT.
DIVINE HEALING: We believe in the laying on of hands and the anointing with oil for the sick in Jesus’ name for healing from sickness and disease.
TITHING: We believe in tithing the first tenth of our income back to the Lord.
THE ORDINANCES: We believe in the baptism of believers in water in obedience to the command of Christ and the commemoration of Christ’s death by the observance of the Lord’s Supper until He returns.
THE COMMISSION: We believe that the GOSPEL OF CHRIST embraces the needs of the whole man and that the church is therefore commissioned to preach the gospel to the world and to fulfil a ministry of healing and deliverance to the spiritual and physical needs of mankind.
THE RAPTURE OF THE CHURCH: We believe that Jesus Christ will return in the clouds to rapture His Bride, THE CHURCH, and that following this there will be a great “Marriage Supper of the Lamb” in Heaven for seven years, and that subsequent to this event great tribulation will occur on the earth.
THE COMING KING: We believe that following this seven year period of Tribulation, Christ will return physically and visibly to vanquish His foes and to rule and reign in power and glory.
THE FUTURE STATE: We believe in the resurrection of the dead and in the final judgment of the world, the eternal conscious bliss of the righteous and the eternal concious punishment of the wicked.
The Kardashians are trash.
Saw a pic of Kim in her wedding dress. The bottom must have been made from 2 kingsize size bed sheets to cover that caboose.
I like a well rounded derrière but there’s too much of a good thing. In her case waaaay too much.
Really?
Insofar as I am able to be a "role model to the church," I try to do it through a godly life and faithful service.
Mr. Dumas apparently thinks that means a family connection to O.J. Simpson and a homemade sex tape on the one hand, and a sewer mouth that runs twice as fast as his brain on the other.
That’s great, but do you believe two people who have a child and then get married are “role models?” Yes, it’s better than not getting married, but still...role models?
I’m sure if every word spoken by every member of my church were published, we could all find a sentence or two that could be used by someone who has never attended the church and knows nothing about it to assail the pastoral skills and anointing of my pastor, who is the most deeply devoted, uncompromising preacher of the Gospel I have ever known.
But see, you're turning my question (which you didn't answer) into an attack on your pastor, which it isn't. I think you're reacting too emotionally.
Again, don't you think it's overstating it to call those two role models? Aside from the fact that they had a child and then got married, why on earth are we even looking at celebrities as such?
What’s a Kim and Kanye? And why should I give a frog’s fat ass about them?
