If you don't shower much - but generally keep that information to yourself because of the negative stigma - you're not alone. Following hot on the heels of the no-shampooing hair care revolution, some folks are taking the logical next step: If no or reduced shampooing results in healthier, shinier hair, what about skipping soaping up the body? Unlike the modified hair-washing schedule, which tends to elicit commentary about shampoos and parabens, conditioners and hair-drying time, skipping showers altogether seems to bring up plenty of other opinions on the subject. Many people who do shower every day think that not doing so is inherently wrong and unhealthy. It's assumed that people who don't shower on the regular are stinky and/or greasy and maybe even visibly dirty - and it certainly can't be good for you.

This should be fun...
Uh, how about just on New Years Day?
As often as it takes.
My very hot Texas wife says I’d better not get within 10 yards of her unless I smell like springtime in Hill Country.
I shower often.
Well, often enough to wash other people’s blood off.
As often as you have to be in the physical presence of others.
I’m a sweaty mess....I should probably go home and shower over lunch.
And the brain matter—sheesh—don't get me started . . .
What complete and total scab would even suggest this?!? Simply foul....
They probably advise dumpster diving too
Lack of personal hygiene is one of the first signs of major depression. More proof liberalism is a mental disorder.
I did some work with a guy from Slovakia. I invited him to my house for dinner. I told my kids that people in Europe don’t shower as often as we do. And that he stinks. But not to mention it.
whenever you hear obama?
Is this related to liberals saying we should only wipe with one square? All part of the ‘humans hurt the planet’ crap. Never have I seen a liberal off themselves to follow their own words.
Once a year, whether I need it or not.
Seriously, I DO NOT allow a morning to pass without a shower and shave. I work out in the mornings. I am not getting around anybody at all until that is off of me.
The only time that I didn’t do this was way back when I would go to the field, and then you do the best that the circumstances will allow. When you came back in from whatever you were doing out there, you’d smell like a poorly-kept slaughterhouse in Arizona in mid-July. A long hot shower after peeling your evil-smelling utilities off was up there close to sex in its enjoyment; utter bliss. :-)
I can’t imagine not showering every morning. Wouldn’t leave the house unless I’d showered. In the summer I often shower twice a day since I swim in the afternoon and need to get the chlorine and lotion off. My husband only showers twice a week. Needless to say this has not made for a happy marriage. He claims he doesn’t stink but believe me he does.
I think there’s a lot of stinky, lazy people in this world.
Once a month, whether I need it or not.
Or, to quote my grandpop, when he was with us...
“I took a bath and it isn’t even Saturday!”
:)
In the Spring when the river backs up into the slough.
We use to have our European employees fly in for training class.
You could tell when they were there hours after they left the room. Needless to say, we had plenty of cans of Lysol handy.
