It has been almost four years since the final episode of 24 aired.
24: Live Another Day will be set in London and will begin airing in the US on May 5 and the UK two days later.
The show will follow Jack attempting to stop the assassination of President James Heller while battling CIA agents tracking him, along with the help of Chloe ,who is now working underground with a high-profile hacker.
Kiefer is nervous that the revival wont live up to fans expectations and recently told the Daily Telegraph: The fear of not having it fulfil all of its potential is massive.

The 12 episode format is inline with what we’ve been getting from the cable networks. Also, it gives a linger off-season so the talent can do other work. More time for writers etc.

Probably because the black president on the show was portrayed as a strong leader and Americans thought they could get life to imitate art by electing one of their own. Of course there were plenty of movies in the ensuing years that featured a black president before we had one. But anyway...
Morgan Freeman had already played a black President in the movies years before that.
Nobody voted for Barack 0bama because of 24. In fact, I doubt many of the people who watch 24 would even have been part of his constituency.
Well, that’s what some people believe. In fact, there was a quote from the actor who played the president, taking credit for getting Obama elected because of his TV role, FWIW.
Portraying a black man as President got us our first black President. Wow. Just wow. Silly beyond words.
