It has been almost four years since the final episode of 24 aired.
24: Live Another Day will be set in London and will begin airing in the US on May 5 and the UK two days later.
The show will follow Jack attempting to stop the assassination of President James Heller while battling CIA agents tracking him, along with the help of Chloe ,who is now working underground with a high-profile hacker.
Kiefer is nervous that the revival wont live up to fans expectations and recently told the Daily Telegraph: The fear of not having it fulfil all of its potential is massive.

Actually your assessment of the program is wrong as evidenced by Rush's comments about the writers of the past series.........
If you have to be so anal-retentive as to try and figure out the politics of any actors/actresses participating in any entertainment venue, you sir have a major problem!
But then again, that seems to be a trait of internet political junkes who have no other life than their computer and TV's........
Since I have no idea who Joel Surnow is/was, his ouster obviously had no impact on me........I loved the series till the end.
——That show helped prep America for Barack Obama.-——
Maybe it paved the way for a black POTUS, but not a black Marxist....
Would you say the same thing about a President Allen West....
I hope not....
Oh, by the way, 24 was my favorite show and I already had read about the far left history of the Sutherland family long before the show aired.
I personally had to overcome the Sutherland family political history in order to watch the show though. I started watching by the 4th year then got seasons 1-3 to catch up on borrowed DVDs.
But, the FR live threads were awesome!
Yeah, they were! I loved the nicknames. Man-Hands, Freckles...
The new thread is coming soon!
WHOOHOOO.. I’ll miss Freckles. But the show must go on.
Please keep me on your “ping” list. I can hardly wait.
He was the creator of the show. And a conservative.
IMHO, it’s good that it will be only 12 hours long (despite the obvious conflict with the name). That’s about right for a serialized program — it about equals a fat book, or a trilogy of average-size books. I’m optimistic.
Far too often, network serialized dramas spin out of control. They last too many hours per season; the plots keep getting increasingly convoluted, and develop too many plot holes; and they have a tendency to degenerate into soap operas, with the focus being on which characters will be found in bed with which other characters. Too often, network serialized dramas plod along for years, going no where — and then rush to tie all the loose ends up in the final two hours. I prefer the focus to be more on telling a good story. HBO, AMC, and Netflix have shown the networks how it’s done.
Check 2!
Why the Russians? That seems pretty accurate, based on contemporary events...
Because having them as villains lacks imagination. The big threat is islamic radicals. Russia didn’t attack us twice also.
