Maybe they'll play the Happy Song at her funeral ...

She died doing what she loved — stupid stuff.
Weird. That song didn’t do anything for me.
How about “Happy Days Are Here Again”?

Wonder if she was using her hands to ‘clap along’ instead of to steer the car.
Happy, happy, happy.
At least she died with a song on her lips.
No wonder the country is in the shape it is in.
I see people every day who are looking at their phones going 70 MPH. As negligent as getting behind the wheel drunk.
I love threads like these....gives Freepers a chance to be themselves
People who use their cell phone while driving are just plain idiotic. Especially texting. If someone calls me while I’m driving and it’s an emergency, I pull into a parking lot and call back. I never text or even talk while driving.

"From One Second To The Next" A Film By Werner Herzog It Can Wait
I dare anyone to watch this and not shed a single tear; for the victims or for those who did some so stupid like text while driving, not thinking and not realizing how very dangerous it is and how their lives and the lives of those they killed or permanently injured, the lives of the families and their lives are changed forever.
I love my smart phone but I either keep it turned off or in my purse when Im behind the wheel. No phone call, voice mail, text message or FB post is so important that it cant wait until Im no longer behind the wheel.
I happen to like the song Happy, its a fun and catchy song, but not so much that I would do the equivalent of shutting my eyes for over 5 seconds while driving just to tell people that. Think about that. Imagine your drive to work tomorrow morning and imagine doing it while closing your eyes for five seconds at a time every few minutes.

I drove Business 85 in High Point for years, it’s a very early stretch of interstate highway that has been bypassed by a newer, wider I-85 for through traffic.
There is very little median between northbound and southbound lanes, mostly just a concrete curb with a two-sided guardrail. It’s fairly narrow, rainwater runoff is not handled well, on ramps and off ramps are short, sharp and abrupt. Speed limit is 55 on that stretch, but it’s routinely ignored.
I’ve seen my share of accidents on that road. Most memorable was a fifth-wheel loaded horse trailer jackknifing and then going airborne. It skidded right past me on the other side of the median, whole rig on it’s roof. A dog was thrown out, I was sure it was dead. I was sure there were going to be dead people and dead animals. But, the dog got up and ran even while the wreckage was still screeching across the pavement. The people and the horses were OK. How, I really don’t know but I’m thankful that they were.
That’s just plain sad. Prayers up for the family and those injured. I won’t do the ‘I tolja so’ routine, and though I have contempt for those who insist on endangering others by using phones while they drive, it is still a miserable situation when someone pays the price.
And to think she might still be alive if she had been listening to “Baker Street” by Gerry Rafferty. Oh, I love the song, but in strictly measured doses. I’ve never had an urge to send a text message about it, that’s for sure.
In any event, everybody is posting songs so... if you all remember Frank Mills from "The Music Box Dancer" instrumental fame, here's another one of his songs.
Can a nation this stupid survive?
