During a rant on his radio show Tuesday, Glenn Beck told his audience that he prayed to God that Russian President Vladimir Putin would die.
It sounds harsh, but Beck seems to believe that what Putin is doing in Russia essentially amounts to starting World War III. As part of his outburst, Beck also mentioned that the unrest in Russia would soon spread to Europe.
“I’ve never prayed for the Lord to take anybody before, but I have started praying with my family last night that the Lord calls Mr. Putin home soon,” Beck said.
One of the ways that Beck imagined Putin could meet his end was by being swallowed by a giant whale.
“I don’t want any ill will to happen to him, but if it’s time for him to be called home, but it wouldn’t suck,” Beck said.
Beck predicted “the newly reformed Soviet Union and China will work together to collapse the United States and the West, resulting in a New World Order.”
If this is Glenn sober, someone give him a drink.
Yes, but remember that Glenn worships a charlatan who pretended that angels told him where to dig up golden plates with holy writings upon them, which he "translated" from "reformed Egyptian" through "seer stones" he put in a hat and then placed upon his head.
You have to be pretty f**king crazy to believe any of that. And Beck certainly qualifies.

At least Alex Jones seems to firmly grasp the big picture. Beck has all the puzzle pieces and still can't seem to put the picture together.

You are right about Beck. He has completely gone nuts. There are a lot of people I do not like (e.g. Obama), but I would never stoop as low as to actually PRAY for their death. No sane person would.
I don’t mince words. Call it like you see it. Beck is off the rails.
Why didn’t Beck pray for Obama and Biden to die, so that we get Boohoo Boner as POTUS.
He may try to drown Putin with his tears but he will still be a better president than what we have today.
Beck is no longer mentally stable, IMHO.

Putin most certainly does not protect non-Russian Orthodox, or should I say, non-KGB/FSB churches. Evangelical, baptist, etc. church plants are harassed and attacked and are subject to indiscriminate persecution by the FSB. Many, in fact, have been closed, due to such harassment from the authorities.
Even if you’re right, which I seriously doubt, and Russia under Putin has only ever tried to protect Orthodox Christians, that would be one more Christian denomination than the United States has tried to protect over the past quarter century, wouldn’t it?
I have friends who have been involved in an evangelical church plant in Ukraine. They had tried Russia for several years, but were harassed by the FSB and finally closed by them. They went to Kyev and have found it is a better situation. While there are obstacles set up by the various Ukrainian Orthodox churches, they can still practice their faith and evangelise.
