TEXOKIE, Glad to hear from you where you are with gardening so far.

I’ve got seedlings up in 21 cups under the grow lamp and that means more than 21 containers because there are several plants in each cup. I don’t have that many containers left. I need some more 3 gallon nursery type black pots as they are cheapest and I think will be large enough for what’s growing but that isn’t exactly right since there are a number of tomatoes. Have to rethink pots. I have some big enough for tomato plants but I don’t remember where I got them - maybe the Mega Garden store. They evidently weren’t terribly expensive because I have a lot of those. Need to look at my orders on computer and see where I got those pots.

I only have one more really big bag of potting soil mix and that isn’t enough so I’ll have to buy smaller bags I can carry this time.

It is overcast again today so no sun. I need sun for all those plants outside now.

JRandomFreeper is supposed to get internet today so I expect him to be all over this thread before the day is over. :o)

Oh wow! you are really coming along! I know what you mean about pots! I need more of them too! ....either that or else get Darlin to help me build some raised beds... Well, I can dream, can’t I? It could happen!

I did obtain three large sacks of potting soil at the end of last season when they were on sale. Not sure if it will be enough.

I was tickled to find in a junk yard an old rusty metal strainer which fits into a bucket that fishermen use/ed for putting their catches into a bucket, then by lifting it out, the water drains off, and they are able to handle the fish easily. The size of the mesh is just right to act as a soil sieve for me to aerate the soil and get the rocks in the bottom of the pots out of the dirt before I amend the soil and place it back into the pots with the rocks again at the bottom.

It will be good seeing JRandomFreeper!
