Also, I figure my headline should make this article an easy search for future references on the subject. God-willing she runs... we will be answering "friends" on this issue for a while. Thank you in advance.

The smears are all that matter to liberals. Tom DeLay’s partisan conviction has been overturned but to them, he is forever guilty and is still reported as final.

Why don’t you search for ‘Palin’ on FR?

Here’s an incomplete list from the anchorage paper. That looks like a good source for further research.

There were early reports, which the left blogs trumpeted as ‘proof’ of guilt. I’m sure the AP buried this final finding, which clears her.

Altogether, there were 22 or 23 frivolous ethics charges manufactured by the Pete Rouse smear machine in Alaska, and Palin was cleared in all but one very minor complaint, in which she had taken her kids along on a campaign trip and charged the expense to the state. The Palins promptly repaid the $9,000, which was really small potatoes.

That's all they got her for...but in the process she racked up over $600,000 in legal fees, and when she set up a legal defense fund, the Rats attacked it too, leaving her and her family defenseless and threatened with bankruptcy, which was the Rat plan all along.

It’s unethical for a female or black (or any other “minority”) to support a republican or criticize a democrat.

She did those things (there’s plenty of film) so there is no way she could be cleared of wrongdoing. It’s best to drop this discussion with you friend.

Just tell your friend that there was nothing to it but that it’s just a part of the democrats’ ongoing war on [conservative] women and minorities.

she was cleared of any wrongdoing

Remember one thing. To a liberal it's not the evidence that matters, it's the seriousness of the charge.

It’s been my experience that you probably are not going to convince you friend. When I lived in Wi, there were opponents of Walker who were convinced he was going to jail for who knows what and nothing was going to convince them otherwise
