The Girl Scouts of the USA has sent threatening letters to at least two small pro-life groups that have been critical of Girl Scout collaborations with Planned Parenthood and other abortion advocacy groups.
Since the beginning of the Girl Scout cookie boycott, exclusively announced at Breitbart News late last month, LifeNews has extensively reported on the connection between Planned Parenthood and the Girl Scouts.
LifeNews editor Steve Ertelt announced Monday that he had received a letter threatening legal action. In it, Girl Scout executive Brian Crawford complained about articles that outline alleged ties to Planned Parenthood and that GSUSA has an obligation to protect the Girl Scout name. Crawford insisted, Girl Scouts of the USA does not have a partnership or any relationship with Planned Parenthood and does not intend to initiate one. He demanded that LifeNews cease using the Girl Scout logo.
Ertelts is not the only group threatened by the Girl Scouts in this important cookie-selling season.

No cookies. Period.
Cookie sales must be down.
I’m pretty much done with them. It’s Lorna Doone’s for me.
I wouldn’t say anything to the little girls, but the mom’s may get an earful.
The lesbians took over the Girl Scouts in my area 20 years ago.
No way I’d let my daughters near them.
Hard to imagine any legal basis at all for this suit; you can’t be awarded damages in a suit against someone who is merely telling the truth.
Not yet, anyway, despite the universal spread of Obama’s anti-legal, constitution-shredding Marxism.
I can make my own cookies, thank you.
I really hope one of them will take the challenge and bring the GS into court. And pursue discovery with all deliberate vigor.
P.S. Keebler makes a better mint cookie.
The choc/mint cookies at Dollar General are our replacement for “Thin Mints”. We love ‘em.
So sad to watch this happening to once was wholesome and good for our children. Homosexual agenda in the boy scouts and pro abortion indoctrination for our girl scouts. It’s just evil.
My sister-in-law called me, last week, about buying cookies from her daughter. I said no, and told her the reason. She seemed taken aback, as she is very pro-life. Let’s see if she pulls her daughter out of the girl scouts. The group that her daughter is in is, no doubt, mostly Christian. I wonder how many parents know of the connection between the Girl Scouts and PP?
Two points:
1) Truth is an absolute defense.
2) The right of Discovery by the defense can really suck for the plaintiff.
The GSA is only doing this because the two groups in question are small and may not be able to mount a costly defense. If they are able to demonstrate that they both can and will mount a defense, the GSA wipl fold like a cheap lawn chair.
Good suggestion. And buying them you aren’t contributing to the brainwashing of a little girl’s mind.
The girl scouts want to intimidate pro-life institutions from telling the truth. What do the GS think will happen during the discovery phase of a civil suit?
Democrat Rep.: Kill Babies Because They Have Colic
February 17, 2014 by B. Christopher Agee 43 Comments
The aborto-centric left has pushed countless reasons they feel warrant the massacre of millions of human beings. Generally, their cause is geared toward the convenience of women who, because of their own actions, were saddled with a growing baby they simply do not want.
Few have expressed such disregard for life as callously as Iowa State Rep. Beth Wessel-Kroeschell.
During a recent House debate, the Democrat listed several reasons mothers might want to snuff out the life of their own offspring before he or she ever gets the opportunity to experience life outside of the womb.
Citing a laundry list of challenges they bring, Wessel-Kroeschell apparently believes the best option for many mothers is to remain so self-centered that a few minor inconveniences outweigh the life they helped create.
They have colic, she said of the babies she so easily relegates as disposable, the sleepless nights, the finances, the disciplinary challenges, the education challenges, the birth defects, the mental health issues, the learning disabled the list goes on and on....

We found some clones of Samoas and Thin Mints (the only GS cookies worth buying in the first place) at a dollar a box at the local Dollar Tree.
And no getting camped by Girl Scouts when you come out of the Grocery Store. . . .
Those and Nutter Butters are always in my pantry.
The Girl Scouts threatening small pro-life groups could very well set up some great blow-back; the more the GSofA protests, the more publicity they will get, and the more publicity they get, the more customers and members they will lose.
In addition, they come across as bullies, and Americans are sick of bullies!
