Thanks.
After I posted, my wife got home and I asked her about the bosses at her job that go to Korea and eat like a Korean. She said they could not stand it; Called it rotted cabbage.
I probably better leave it alone if I cross paths with it, or at least not make a long drive just to try it.

Combination of rot, insanely hot chilis, insanely garlickly garlic and vinegar.
Some people like it.
I like regular old sauerkraut, myself.

Went out to the seed room and checked for new life, and watered. I had a number of new sprouts, both maters and peppers. I was about to give up on them. Temp in the seed trays, 70, it was in the mid 80’s before I opened the garage door for a couple of hours working on something. Two 100 watt bulbs are plenty, but will have to cut back to 1 when it warms up again by the end of the week.

I loved kimchee when I went to Korea. Different people have different tastes.
It will keep you regular....

Good looking kimchi!!! Local Korean place makes it on premises so I but it from them every few months.
Good probiotics in KimChi. Gardens are also just a big fermentation vat.

I have seen several people on this thread that like it, that is why I wondered about it, maybe I am missing something.

It will keep you regular.... Today, before I forced myself out in 38 degree weather to plant potatoes..It was better yesterday when it was 78,...
I was watching Crazy Korean Cooking on Roku. The gals were talking about Doenjang (fermented bean paste), and the many splendiferous properties..one being it will keep you regular.
Keeping with the title f their show, it was kind of a comedy sketch.
Last time I was at the Asian Market, the Korean Lady who cashiers was telling me about how great it is.."Will make you have big poo."
I bought some, and have never tried it...but I do use Gochujang a lot..In fact, I need to go get some more. I like it for fresh kimchi, but I don't like fermented kimchi.

I'm a big fan of fermented vegetables. They are good for me.

The Sweet Million tomato will grow rampantly! Allow it room to grow up or outward! (With tomato production to match)

That looks pretty good to me. I think the local Korean eatery uses Gochujang in their fresh kimchi..also they use cucumbers...lol, another use for my zoodler thingie...cucumbers. Yesterday, I did yellow squash noodles and, an onion with the zoodler.
I think for the thirty five dollar investment, I am getting my money's worth from it..at least as far as the "fun with veggies" factor.
I finally got around to making my jab chae. It was really good. I also made some more dak galbi. All those veggies must be good for me. Too bad I let all my bok choy, and toy choi go to flower..oops.

It looked, upon initial examination, like you had to have really overweight birds sitting on the perches to open up the feeder. We have a zillion squirrels and two zillion birds. Never had a problem with the trees rats getting into the bird feed. The feeders are hung from the rafters and they don't rope climb. The dove are quite chubby and about the size of small chickens. They look like owls sitting on the fence.

I think we Texans whine about the weather more than those from the other locales on the gardening thread...so, without further adieu,
I was going to go to the store, but when I went out just now, my car is encased in ice. We need the moisture. I just prefer it not to be frozen. It's 29 here.

It's 30F here with light rain. I'm smoking pork out in the smoker, and it's a mess to get out there to check the meat. I'll give it 30 more minutes in the smoke, and then I'm pulling it inside to finish in the oven.

In some circles squirrels are considered “good eatin’”.
Got pellet-gun?
