Pepsi as a corporation is very liberal and anti-second amendment.
America The Beautiful being sung...
The Coke board has some serious explaining to their stockholders. Corporate advertising is supposed to make an emotional connection with its customer base, enhance its product’s appeal and increase sales. Coke executives are trying to blaze some sort of politically correct marketing plan. In the short term sales will decrease since they clearly alienated some of their most loyal customers. It is yet to be seen if the meal of the new America will be a burger, fries and a coke.
Sounds good. Supporting the Israelis seems like a better use of my time.
I just watched the youtube. Get a grip and join the real world. If yoy boycot everything you don’t like you will be very lonely, hungry and have nothing to ware, watch, or listen to.
I personally don’t like the ragheads or the fags but what are you going to do. Rather than give up coke products? You might want to find out everything coke has an intrest in before you give up all coke products. Just sayin.
Big Mack
My reaction was strongly WTF?!
With ‘Kumbaya’ or ‘If I Had a Hammer’, OK. But that song?
Did their MBA adult children actually believe it was a good thing to do? Educated idiots. More New Coke.
They were using fetal cells to test their products, they are anti-second amendment, plus, I think they donated money to Obama, IIRC.
Like your post.
For a while I kept a running list of all the retail stores that various FReepers demanded we boycott.
Eventually the only one left was the St Vincent de Paul Thrift store.
Then somebody posted an anti-Catholic screed.
I believe most big businesses in the US realize the inevitability of progressive control and are attempting to buy insurance against it. Look at the list of Podesta’s supporters:

yes
Good Lord. The Democrats should have waited on their Conservative twitter rant about Cheerios because they only had to wait a week and change Cheerios to Coke. I didn’t like the Commercial, but as I ponder it while drinking my Diet Coke, all I say it was that I didn’t particularly like the commercial. There were other commercials I didn’t like but still going to purchase their product.
Nope not at all. And I find it pathetic how many people have an issue with it. Really it’s just dumb, America is NOT and has NEVER BEEN an exclusively English speaking country, get over it\, get over yourselves.
But of course we all know this is blowhard BS and by the end of the week everybody claiming they’ll never touch Coke again will be back to normal (assuming they don’t have a Minute Maid in their hand right now). They just want their non-righteous indignation noted.
Nope.
I finally watched the “Offensive” ad and it seems to me they are promoting America.
When I tell people how to fix the world my solution always comes down to flooding them with:
Coca Cola/Pepsi
McDonalds
and Mom’s apple pie.
What could be more American? Don’t bag on my Mom either.
It seems to me, in my travels around the globe, the world very much wants to be like us.
In fact, they come here by the droves looking for the American Dream.
“Flame suit on”
Pepsi just tastes terrible. I refuse to purchase it. The reason Coke is bashed is because they are the largest soda company and get trashed all the time....liberals do it to Walmart all the time. When you are number 1, jealousy is EVERYWHERE!
So, no problem with that whole shoving homosexuality down our throats?
Was thinking about buying a Sodastream to support Israel of course..but are the drinks that you can make with it any good..never even tasted it before so have no idea how it even tastes
Coke had to get on the good side of the congresscritters. One wouldn’t want a Bloomdork banning all Cokes, would one?
Maroons, all of ‘em.
The “Great Spirit of America” can be shared by all in whatever language they choose to sing it in. I’m just happy they are singing it.
Just like the spiritual hymn, “Amazing Grace” being sung in the Cherokee language. To my ears it will always remain beautiful.

Well, I suggest 'the American dream' wasn't built upon Balkanization. But it will die from it.
