Survivor: Cagayan — Brawn vs. Brains vs. Beauty is the 28th season of Survivor. It begins Wednesday, February 26, 2014 on CBS at 8/7c with a special two-hour episode.
As with the last season, this season takes place in Cagayan, Philippines. This is the fourth consecutive season that Survivor has taken place in the Philippines
It has been reported from several sources that there will be no Redemption Island. I hope this is true. I guess we'll find out.
Celebrity cast members include Miami Marlins president David Samson, former NBA all-star Cliff Robinson, former San Francisco 49ers cheerleader Morgan McLeod, professional poker player Garrett Adelstein, and MMA fighter Sarah Lacina (she's also a cop).
Aparri Tribe (brawn - orange buffs): Cliff, Lindsey, Sarah, Tony, Trish, Woo
Luzon Tribe (brains - green buffs): David, Garrett, J’Tia, Kass, Tasha, Spencer
Solana Tribe (beauty - purple buffs): Alexis, Brice, Jefra, Jeremiah, LJ, Morgan

It appears from the clip that the Brains tribe stays together in the new tribe.
Orange: Kass-Spencer-Tasha-Jeremiah-Alexass-Morgan-Sarah.
Purple: Cliff-Lindsey-Tony-Woo-Trish-LJ-Jeffra.
Tony and Sarah are split up and so is the Beauty tribe but with Brawn and Brain still pretty much together.
I would say advantage to Purple with Morgan or Alexas on the chopping block from the Orange tribe.
Could either refer to the Beauty Tribe or Sarah or both.
The question is who will get custody of those chickens.

Congrates to LB during TC I was going “Play it! Play it!” but he kept the II in his pocket and survived to play again.
Snake Head gets all teary eyed because of Boston Girl? IIRC she’s the one who got all snotty with Boston Girl in the first few days.
Yep -- I was screaming at him but I'm glad he didn't hear me.
I never realized how much Cliff's tribe really disliked him -- Trish, Tony, and Sarah [if she had been there]. That really puts Woo Who and Lindsey on the bubble now.
So glad LJ lived to see another day!! Tony surprised me, maybe there’s hope for him yet.

It’s interesting that Tony flipped for Cliff.
I like both LJ and Tony.
Spencer: “The only thing standing between us Brains and the final three are the other two tribes”.
Breaking News: Now there is nothing left standing.
I was hollering, “Play it!”, too and like LJ. Wow, Tony flipped. Interesting, if it’s true, that Cliff hadn’t spoken a word to Trish. Woo is going to come after Tony for sending his bff out and he might be next although I’d rather see mop head be gone.
Tasha moved up a bit for me during the hold onto the post challenge. That gal is strong. Have to say someone could have been seriously injured when in the past the rule was never to get too physical with another player during a challenge.
Yeh but that was Jeffra and Trish trying to pull her loose and Jeffra can't even open a banana without help.
However it was the LJ and Trish on Alexas and the Lindsey and Tony on Sarah that was a bit hinky. How was that fair???
Yes, she's strong, but strength notwithstanding, she's still a twit that screws up the challenges. She's also annoying.
She is annoying but together with Spencer and Kass they have the best chance here if they carefully bring in the others into their alliance. Surprisingly they appear to be the tightest three of anyone out there.
The one in the strongest position at this point is Tony with an idol and able to ally with either LJ, Jeffra, Trish or Woo, Lindsey, Trish but I can almost see him making one big move too many and getting caught with the idol in his pocket.
Probably 3 more TCs before the merge. My prediction is that Lindsey, Alexass, Morgan get axed — to Spencer’s dismay.
I think production loves this season — it has everything.

Unlike the past several seasons, Survivor will conclude on a Wednesday rather than a Sunday.
Hmm, what’s going on that Sunday that Survivor is changing it’s schedule?
Survivor ratings are very strong against American Idol, and going up against the reveal show for the finale with Survivor’s finale appears to be the last shot. It looks like they broke up the last episode of Amazing Race to stretch it out another week to fill the Sunday slot that Survivor typically takes for the finale. (Dang it, I hate 1 hour last episodes of Amazing Race...)
