Captured by Saudi vet experts
Police gave no explanation as to how the snake reached the toilet in the Western Saudi town of Madinah or where it came from, as anacondas which are normally non-venomous snakes are found in tropical South America.
One expert said the reptile was so big that it could swallow a baby.
“These types of snakes can swallow a baby in case they are very hungry and it could be too difficult to control them if they are set loose,” Sada newspaper said, quoting Hassam Al Malki, an expert at the Riyadh-based Prince Sultan Military Health Centre.
He said the snake could have been brought by a Saudi from South America and locked her up in a cage at his house but that it might have managed to get out.
“It could have crawled into that toilet to seek warmth in this cold weather as such snakes live in a warm environment,” he said.
The paper did not mention the size of the snake, but anacondas can grow to sizes of six metres and exceed 150kg in weight.

It probably didn’t like the company in Makkah and thought the toilet company was more congenial.

I would presume that anacondas are ALWAYS non-venomous
My best guess is that some rich Saudi student came over here for some college time, and brought it back home as a pet.
Not after they’ve been stick in a toilet for weeks.
I went in the women restroom in an art supply store in Santa Fe NM about 20 years ago. At first glance I thought there was a bean bag chair on the floor. I blinked and realized it was a HUGE coiled up snake!
SHOCK!!!!!!!
I almost had a heart attack. It seems they were the store owners pets and their cage was being cleaned. There was another one over in the corner but I missed that one.
The owner said he had put an “out of order” sign on the door but I only wanted to use the mirror not the toilet so I ignored the sign.
It is a good thing I wasn’t armed at the time or I probably would have shot it!
