What does gun control have to do with health care? As odd as it seems, Obamacare contains provisions that jeopardize gun ownership, especially for veterans. Anti-gun provisions were added to initial drafts of Obamacare legislation under the pretext of prohibiting people with mental illness which can include PTSD - from owning guns. Fortunately, the NRA stepped in and got some of the worst language revised last December. Senate amendment 3276, Sec. 2716, part c. prohibits the creation of a firearms database and stops doctors from disclosing or collecting information relating to a patients firearms. Ironically, this provision was probably the only positive result of most members of Congress not bothering to read the bill before voting on it.

LOL! I keep thinking the phone is ringing. I guess that’s why some guitar player came up with the idea of putting a plexiglass cage around the drummers these days. We would toss the drummer treats like a little monkey.
LOL! I can’t even hear a phone ringing. I have to see it light up! It’s in the frequency range blocked by the tinnitis. We threatened our drummer with the “cage,” and he went electronic. Really lowered the stage volume. I was able to use my 56 Pro Amp for Tele, and the Vibroverb for steel. I never had a better sound! But it was too late for my hearing.
That answer would merely generate a polite apology from your Doctor as he entered "gunowner" on your medical records. The only safe answer is "no". Any answer other than "NO" will be taken as a "Yes".
This is why I think everyone should keep at least some of their firearms buried somewhere in PVC pipes. So they won't be discovered during a thorough house search.
No more batteries and no more electric cars.
And your name will be put on the "yes" list. Remedial actions will be taken later when the commies are further entrenched.
We couldn’t convince our drummer to go the “E” route. He played real hard and everybody had to crank it up to be heard over him. With all the inovations today, the “E” drums probably feel like the “real” drums of old. And it really makes it super easy to do the mixing board too when they convert. No more vicious loops from the drum mikes.
They know who you are and who your friends, relatives, and neighbors are. First, people who have even a slight nervous or emotional disorder will be forbidden guns. Then, if anyone in your household has a “disorder,” including ADHD, you will be forbidden guns. Then, if anyone in that category is related to you or friends with you and might visit your home, you will be forbidden guns. Then, if anyone who lives in your neighborhood who has a disorder and might visit your home, you will be forbidden guns. See how that works? It’s for your safety and well-being.
I think it would be nice if the thugs would drop me a line so I can be sure and have all my valuables boxed and ready to go.
Meh. Might just say “No.” You do realize that they will put down whatever they believe anyway?
Well,,,, you have to hit a drum with a certain amount of force to get good tone/sound out of it. But we all got together and told Greg he was going into the cage if he couldn’t turn it down. He hated that idea! He built his own E kit, using the best parts from different companies. Had his own drum monitors. It worked out well. But again, too late for me!
I used plugs - pretty much from the git-go. I still have some partial range loss but overall I’m still functional. I pity my band-mates who mocked me & my earplugs....what?!!
Well,,, I never used plugs. But we were a Country band, and we really didn’t play that loud. It was the cymbals that did me in. I was always seated in front of the drummer, to one side or other of his kist. Damn Zildians were also too close to my ears.
You said; “...which can include PTSD - from owning guns ...”
I am of the belief that you to have been judicially classed as a danger to yourself or others ...
Did you know clicking on your links take you to some Gov’mit
agencies’ ... wake up and give a heads up before you encourage participation in you post ... thanking you in advance.
According to what I’ve seen, even if you’re not adjudicated it goes in the record and that in turn gets submitted to the data base that may or may not be used for an approval. BS if ya ask me. (And, I didn’t say it, the report did. LOL! I only report the news not make it. I hope!)
