This week, Starbucks CEO Howard Schultz caused a stir by asking customers to leave their guns at home.
While Schultz stressed that customers who did legally bring guns into stores wouldn't be kicked out, the comments offended a lot of people.
We asked two Starbucks competitors, McDonald's and Dunkin' Donuts, if they had gun policies for their thousands of restaurants.
Both companies said they simply abide by the laws of that state or region.

Shultz will shut his trap when an incident happens and his customers sue his a## for advertising a gun free zone, inviting trouble and putting is customers in danger.
“It’s a strange world when I find I’m glad that someone will just shut up and sell me food.”
Nice factoid - Dunkin sells a cheese bagel stick for somewhere south of $1.50. Great improvement on their usual sugar specials and, as you said, no Libtard Agenda.
Such a deal!
The restaurant chain Buffalo Wild Wings does have a policy: No guns. And when a group of eight plain-clothed Prince William County police officers wearing guns sat down last month at the new BWW in Manassas, near Wellington Road and Market Street, a waitress there refused to serve them.
From the WP in April.
I go to Waffle House. If you don’t have a gun on you. They give you one at the door.
Love the picture you made me think of. Waffle House is definitely among the top places where you would see someone with a gun on his/her hip - sitting right next to a local cop at the counter.
It's early, but that line qualifies for BOD {best of day}. LOL.
It's true.
“Its a strange world when I find Im glad that someone will just shut up and sell me food.”
Yeah, for sure. If I’m out and about and want a cup of coffee I usually swing through Mickey D’s. My favorite breakfast chow is their bacon/egg/cheese biscuit with a hash brown. I know, has a billion calories, but it sure is good. Although I’ve probably eaten about a zillion of their burgers and fries while raising my three daughters can’t say I care for them, just not very imaginative. But, they got the job done which was to feed them and get us back on the road :)
Waffle House has the best bad food and atmosphere. Waffle House at 2 am is a novel waiting to be written.
Waffle House is a love hate relationship for me. I have to hold my 45 ACP to my head to drive by a Waffle House after mid-night.
His lyrics delve into the crowd who would frequent WH after 2am.
As a bit of trivia, that's "Elvira" gracing the cover of "Small Change" before she was "Elvira".
So right - I think the Waffles are the worst of the menu - ironic. Lots of "interesting characters and enough "old style" waitresses keep it keepin' on.

Shut up and sing...
I forgot all about Tom. Guess I’ll be over at youtube later today. You may have found the soundtrack for the screen play I need to write.
I never get the waffles. Eggs, bacon, hashbrowns, toast, and one of their famous cheap greasy fried bad cuts of steak is the ticket for me.
Dont you want to gripe about this one?Poor baby!
Now you’re making me nostalgic...
All I ask of them, really.
Shut up and sling, but same principle.
I think the wife and I will hit the Waffle House after mid-night tonight. We’ll have all day tomorrow to recover.
