I love Tom Waits and his "Small Change" album is a masterpiece.

His lyrics delve into the crowd who would frequent WH after 2am.

As a bit of trivia, that's "Elvira" gracing the cover of "Small Change" before she was "Elvira".

So right - I think the Waffles are the worst of the menu - ironic. Lots of "interesting characters and enough "old style" waitresses keep it keepin' on.
