Twenty three minutes into Episode 514, entitled Ozymandias after a Shelley poem, Breaking Bad made television history. Except that most fans didnt notice. They were instead ready to cry, scream, vomit, or hurl a waffle iron at the plasma TV, or some combination of the above.

Now see here, “bitch,” ;-)... I’ve had occasion to interact with one or two jesse pinkmans in my day and if anything breaking bad is underplaying how much that word is used in their daily interactions with their peers and the general public. In fact, real tweakers and meth cooks are much more foul mouthed than jesse, skinny and badger.
I detest profanity for its own sake.
That’s why I was somewhat shocked by the outrage over BB’s alleged abuses.
There’s not that much cussing going on, really.
Especially when considering the nature of the show.
And for no apparent reason, I’m gonna state that I find Jesse’s voice “odd”.
There’s just something about his accent/inflection/whatever that sounds weird to me.
Do you think WW would ever take the ricin capsule himself? I know his ego is the main motivation for this seasons behavior, which would make that possibility far fetched. However, with only two episodes left, V.Gilligan needs to wrap things up quickly and there is little time left for him to rectify the many problems that exist for Walt. Plus, the writers hardly ever have the predictable occur.
This last season is so great and i will miss bb each Sunday.
A few days ago I was snarking about all the episodes with Walt in his tightie-whities. Someone pointed out to me that this is a Cranston thing.
There were more than a few Malcolm in the Middle shows whith Cranston in his underwear also.
Hoo Boy!
Almost everything, which is why the old cliche about “assume” exists. Nice try though and no offense intended. It’s just funny when people who don’t know about a subject try to claim they do through assumptions.
Jesse plemons (Todd) is an amazing actor, IMO.
Hey...now that you mention it. >o.o<
On the upside, he doesn’t have an obligatory “full frontal nudity scene regardless of the movie’s subject” clause like Harvey Keitel.
How he made it through “Pulp Fiction” without showing off Harvey Junior, I’ll never know.
:)
“Friday Night Lights “
This, I have never heard of.
Which how I got put on to BB.
Please don’t refer me to any other series for which I will face The Internet Inquisition....;D
I’m pinging my people right now.... ; )
Oh noes!
A fascinating article;

I love the theory that Walt’s new identity will be Hal.
That would explain so much about Malcolm In The Middle.
:D
Netflix.
Episode 1 was pretty freaking awesome!
You’re speaking as if you watch the show. But if you really did, you would know that Bryan Cranston hasn’t appeared in his undies but for a few times, and when he has, they weren’t teeny tiny. I would hardly call it sexy.
I wonder why they always have Holly wearing hats?
Beats me.
I have seen lots of parents with young kids wearing hats.
Possibly to keep their heads warm, I assume.
At least she’s not wearing a little pink porkpie.
Horrible as this childhood recollection is, *one* time my dad messed up and walked from the bathroom to the bedroom in his drawers.
I was scarred for life.
Walt’s whities are not sexy at all.
“Youre speaking as if you watch the show.”
Well, I tuned in for a few segments when celebrity wife swap went to commercial.
Freegards
I can understand folks being upset by the language.
However, marital dysfunction is common. And it has been common since the first marriage. It is not perfect.
But consider, the characters have gone through every conceivable hell—to the point where a wife admits adultery and even attacks her husband (and with cause I might add.)
Yet, they he stills loves her, and cares about his family, to get her off the hook, move their child to safety, and protect them as best he can.
With all of the crap that Walt has done...there is still a feeling that he must protect his family.
I know it is whacked. And it is not for everyone. But it is a tragedy in the classic sense.
And the message is clear: When you get one of those intrusive thoughts—like, “You can steal this money and get away with it”, don’t.
I didn’t assume anything.
I said “Let me guess”
i certainly have learned a lot about the meth business
I would argue that it is larger and more damaging than anything that public edication does to a person's mind.
Well, let me say it this way. Public education primes the person for conformity and group think.
Popular culture institutes the the cultural Marxist direction our country is moving towards at warp speed.
Where else do you think all these kids and 20 somethings got the idea that being a single mom is cool, being gay is wonderful and rampant, that having a "blended family" with kids sired by 8 different parents is a sought after living arrangement, that being a white, older guy is synonymous with being a hateful bigot...it's all come from popular culture.
Media outlets are very much given agendas and marching orders from NWO. This did not happen by accident. You are very correct.
