Earlier today while discussing why the Federal Government would want to pursue a "duty to retreat" in self defense cases a fellow FReeper responded: Stop, Drop, and Cower.
This gave me the idea for this handy brochure illustrating how to behave in an encounter with a government agent and is written from a low-level, bureaucratic-peon's viewpoint.
Please comment.

I think it is good satire. Maybe a little too much “over the top”. You could change that by making it more factual, not “explaining” the attitude, but merely commanding it.
Whites, you’d better understand. It is now open season on you.
Nice.
Though you focus just on government agents; given the GZ case, the brochure should equally admonish cowering from violent criminals.
Holderized
Anything you say or don’t say will be used against you in a secret court above the law.
Oh, ouch / I like.
Did you file the appropriate application, in triplicate?
;-)
Thank you. I was going to go for a more factually supported brochure perhaps including things like the Costco shooting, Ruby Ridge, Waco; various law cases, etc… but then it just got too fun to devolve into over the top.
:D
But merely commanding versus explaining; I kind of like that idea.
I don't recall.
/ What difference does it make?
Laz, I seem to recall you working for a gov-agency; thought you might like to give this a look.
Thought you guys might enjoy this.
I’ll have to wait until I’m on an actual computer to see it, but the idea sounds great.
You do have a point; but by focusing on government I could really go over the top in the COWER section; granted it wouldn't be blasphemous then, but it would lose that aspect of how government authorities have come to view themselves.
And how we burned in the camps later, thinking: What would things have been like if every Security operative, when he went out at night to make an arrest, had been uncertain whether he would return alive and had to say good-bye to his family? Or if, during periods of mass arrests, as for example in Leningrad, when they arrested a quarter of the entire city, people had not simply sat there in their lairs, paling with terror at every bang of the downstairs door and at every step on the staircase, but had understood they had nothing left to lose and had boldly set up in the downstairs hall an ambush of half a dozen people with axes, hammers, pokers, or whatever else was at hand?... The Organs would very quickly have suffered a shortage of officers and transport and, notwithstanding all of Stalin’s thirst, the cursed machine would have ground to a halt! If...if...We didn’t love freedom enough. And even more we had no awareness of the real situation.... We purely and simply deserved everything that happened afterward.
Posted many times before, but, may need to be part of anyone’s contingency planning.
I think it dove-tails nicely with your pdf.
Is there a way to see it without registering?
