The wild pigs, deer and rabbits have destroyed every rose I ever planted, durnit!

Yeah...I have the rose, but then you have all those animals to watch! :)
But, I can grow canna lilies, and they bloom all summer.
The animals don't seem to care for them
(but I love watching them bloom)

Hi Meg, one more day to go with VBS. I am really starting to like this! I am feeling pretty comfortable in the teaching position, the thought of which, scared me a bit last week thinking of it. But I knew I’d be guided as to the right things to do and say. Seems like today, I finally feel at home and “normal” speaking in front of nearly 30 kids and adults! That’s big for me. Who knows, I might volunteer to read Scripture during the services at church. At least they’d be quiet while I was talking! Hee Hee. The kids are getting rambunctious now that it’s 4 days into the week. It’s very hot here, feels like 90 in the shade of our park shelter we are using. The kids have been remarkably well behaved considering we are together nearly 3 hours and it’s so hot.
The little guy talked to me again today. His name is Hunter. He looks to be about 4 years old. He has the cutest little face and brown eyes. So cute! He comes up to me and asks me stuff. I have no idea why he has taken a shine to me. He is precious.
Tomorrow we teach about Heaven!

Thank you, Luv. Another morning, no backache yet! Of course, I haven’t done any work yet either! Guess I’ll fix a bite of breakfast before any work begins.
We had a horrible storm here yesterday and the news says to expect the same for a couple of days. It poured rain in buckets! When the temps get unbearable, we usually have a storm or two.
Sorry it wouldn’t open for you! Stuff happens and we don’t know why! Hope your day is a great one.
