'Aliens' Messed With US, Soviet Nukes - US Airmen

WASHINGTON - In the midst of the Cold War on several occasions, nuclear missiles at US Air Force bases were mysteriously shut down, according to US servicemen who said they witnessed the failure of the heavily guarded missile systems.
But they don't blame America's Cold War enemy, the Soviet Union; they say aliens from space did it.
"This was something Russia could have developed, but it turns out they didn't develop this and we don't have it either - to be able to shut down nuclear weapons with a beam of light," David Scott, a former sergeant in the US Air Force, told RIA Novosti at a conference in Washington on encounters with extraterrestrials.

I’ve seen the sort of electronics used by some of those old systems. Tube filaments burn out, as do contactor windings, especially those sourced by the low bidder.

An alien race millions of light years away, manages to warp thru space at faster than light speeds, avoid asteroids, the pull of other planets, escape the effects of solar radiation, manage to feed and hydrate their crew, decelerate and enter our atmosphere after performing a navigational miracle to get here, avoid burning up on entry, and just before they get close to the ground they need to turn on bright lights to see where they are going?
Doesn't anyone find the problem with this arrival profile of aliens?

But I kinda wonder, I have a recent not needed anymore 2 meter satellite dish, and I may just get a looped recording set up on a as yet determined frequency and transmitter and just aiming it straight up with such a specific message.
“Beware of Islam, they will nuke you” or something like that.
