This book describes Dr. Martin's personal journey from an evolution-trained scientist to a Bible-believing creationist. An additional treat in this book is a series of Marvels of God's Creation, animals whose incredibly complex design completely defies the ability of evolutionists to come up with any explanation for how the creature could have evolved to its present state.

This book is extensively footnoted and is suitable for a textbook in creation science. It gives all the glory to God for His magnificent creation and provides excellent topics for discussion and engagement of non-believers in debate on the world's origin, which can be used by the Holy Spirit to bring an evolutionist to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.

Those footnotes on the T-Rex bone tissue are pretty extensive & impeccable, aren’t they? Imagine, all this was discovered not by Christians, but by evolutionists...yet no Nobel Prize.

Oh that’s right; Nobels are very political & liberal. Nobody wd ever get one for cutting the legs out from under evolutionary theory. In fact, this entire discovery was quite swept under the rug, wasn’t it? Kind of...I don’t know...says it all?

Sakic, it’s not improbable. It’s impossible. Protein, blood, soft-tissue—they cannot & do not remain intact for even one million yrs. This is a fact.

What do you base that on? Actually, it wasn't that long ago that a number of scientists were speculating that we may be able to sequence dino dna using new technology (like PCR) by finding pieces of DNA that might survive in certain environments (such as in amber).

This is what inspired Crichton to write Jurassic Park. A couple of decades later, we're still waiting for a single dino nucleotide.

And bear in mind that the "soft tissue" we're finding is bits of protein that decay vastly slower than dna.

In any case, it doesn't seem "impossible," IMO, to find microscopic bits of protein buried deep inside fossilized bones tens of millions of years old, when you consider that we find complete mammoths that are tens of thousands of years old that look like they died a few days ago.

If you don't want words flung back at you, don't start flinging words.

Or, as is more likely you see no problem with insulting those you disagree with, and calling them "taliban" is quite OK, just as long as the word never gets tossed back. Did you look at the slides? There were actual blood vessels w blood inside. Here’s a quote:

I suggest you Google Francis Collins. He currently is the Director of the National Institute of Health. Prior to his appointment he was in charge of the Human Genome Project and is credited with mapping the Human Genome in 2003. He also studies how cell mutation creates cancer. He is a world famous scientist, believes in God and that he is save by the grace of Jesus and believes that God uses evolution to create all living things.

You do not find "evolution" in the Holy Scriptures because it's a recently man-invented cultic fideistic religion, one devised a millennium later than Mohammedanism. First known use in English is 1622AD. Unknown as a concept and not connected with science until the times of Lamarck, Lyell, and Darwin -- atheist all, IIRC

Apparently an ultimate one trusting in Jehovah--teen-aged faithful Daniel and his pals Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah--understood science. (Daniel 1:3,4)

Where does the Bible say 'everything' was done in 6 literal days? This is not a Bible challenge it is a challenge to read what is literally Written. Why there is a flood recorded in Genesis 1:2, long before Noah's days.

Yo do know don’t you that claiming the age for dinos and wooly mammoths is not really science - there is no way to repeat the past history and why shouldn’t the wooly mammoth meat be fresh if it’s preserved in a deep freeze for the entire length of its’ burial?

Also the scientific research on wooly mammoths is somewhat contradictory depending upon the researchers as it appears the hair was more likely used for cooling not warming the beasts. Their daily nutritional requirements exceed those of the elephants and yet were led to believe they scoured the frozen tundra of the present day arctic?!?!

There are many pieces to the life sciences puzzle and lots of creation science research has uncovered plenty of facts contrary to long ages evolutionary thinking...

I agree. When I first read what the research for Mt. St. Helens eruption in 1980 my jaw nearly hit the floor. Did you see that one? Apparently, the radio-isotope age-dating is not all that reliable as some of the fresh volcanic rocks were dated in a blind test at well over a million years.

Seems that one of our evo-minded geologists sets about the age dating process they must first apply some rather curious circular logic where the supposed age of the rock is indexed by the supposed age of the fossils found there and vice versa.

I had not read about the Mt. St. Helens dating fiasco, but I read about a similar one. They took a sample from one of those ancient pines, I think located in CA. By tree-ring data they knew its exact age, but then they had it carbon dated. The 5,000 yo tree was dated as being between 100,000 & a million years old. Don’t hear much about that little experiment either, do you?
