Ah...I needed that!
ME too! A shame we couldn’t have cloned him! lol
That would have been so nice.
He DOES, however, have an adopted son who is more like him that the one who bears his DNA.
Go Figure.
What a sweet and wonderful man he was. There is none other like him. God Bless this man!
AMEN, Mary Lou!
This is so lovely, Kitty. Thank you for your kind words and prayers for me. I missed you all so much. We have such a wonderful group of friends here at Amy’s. I love all of you so much and hope you know it.
Aw, thanks for your kind note, LTOS. I am sorry to be gone so long from the Israel Prayer page. I do see the pings at night, but I am too tired to add to them. I have a greenhouse business and work alone and this is my 10 hour a day time, 7 days a week, unless I can get to early church on Sundays. I am feeling better now that Jack is gone a week. Fewer sudden sobbing outbursts. Still can produce a bucket of tears upon request though, and don’t dare walk down the Hallmark Card Isle at Walgreens. Sense of humor slowly finding it’s way back to me.
(hugs)

Her Link will Help with this, Dear Geologist.
Goodnight, and God Bless.
Twas a wear Red on Friday day for me.
May y'all have a GREAT weekend.
We are preparing for a trip up to Washington next week. A dearly beloved Aunt Carol (my M-I-L’s sister) will have a memorial celebration next Friday. We'll be spending a week up in Spokane and Pullman next week. Looking forward to spending time with my twin brother along with many relatives and friends.
It's a 1000 mile trip by car. We'll be boarding our dogs for the week and look forward to seeing all our relatives and friends during the week.
Not sure if I'll be able to post during the next week but wish y'all a Blessed Sabbath and week.
May His Name be Praised each and every day!
((((HUGS))))
I hear you, dear FRiend.
Hang in there!
Although I try not to be shocked by the things I see these days, I was caught off-balance by the message on the womans T-shirt as she walked past me in the mall. The bold letters declared: Hope Is For Suckers. Certainly, being naïve or gullible can be foolish and dangerous. Disappointment and heartache can be the tragic offspring of unfounded optimism. But not allowing oneself to have hope is a sad and cynical way to view life.
Biblical hope is unique; its a confident trust in God and what He is doing in the world and in our lives. Thats something everyone needs! The writer to the Hebrews clearly stated the importance of hope when he wrote, Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful (Heb. 10:23).
Having biblical hope is not foolish, because it has a strong foundation. We hold fast to the hope we have received in Christ because our God is faithful. He can be trusted with anything and everything we will ever faceboth for today and forever. Our hope is grounded in the trustworthy character of the God who loves us with an everlasting love. So, the T-shirt had it wrong. Hope is not for suckers; its for you and for me!
Read: Hebrews 10:19-25
Dearest Kitty, you always know just what to say to make me and everyone feel good. Have a great Saturday today.
I missed all of you, too, Kitty! And I thank you for your sweet words.
Wishing each of you a beautiful Saturday. Its cold here but I hear we can look for some warmer weather real soon and I am anxious to see and feel it! Its nice to know that warm weather is right around the corner! ((((HUGS))))
Hope is vital to keep us out of depression, loss of energy, having nothing to look forward to with excitement, and joy. Every child is born of hope. A new beginning. A new life. It is God that bestows life.
Let us bow before the majesty of the LORD. Hope, Cheer, joy, are wonderful.. Focus on the good not the bad of this world. Do what we can to build up others. Thank God for life itself and be thankful always. In Jesus name, amen.
Have a safe journey, DD. Enjoy the time with family and friends. We don’t have it often enough these days. Take lots of pictures to add to those memories. And, return to needing a vacation from your vacation! ;)
