Thank you, Luv! Hope you are having a good day, and are looking forward to the weekend!
Hey, Yorkie! Definitely looking forward to the weekend, even though I have to work tomorrow.
It’s HOT here...84 today and in the 90s tomorrow. Time for the AC, I guess.
It is 82 here today - and one week ago, I was afraid my trees would lose branches with all the heavy snow!
Enjoy your day off, Sunday, Luv!
Thanks, Yorkie! You have a wonderful weekend, too! How is your new little furry friend doing? Is she still into everything like most puppies are?
Yes, Shanah is in to everything! She has many toys, but after three bites on the toy, she’s done with it. Time to find something of Mommy’s. Her favorite thing is the toilet paper. She actually reached up, and ripped the holder right out of the wall! When she does manage to get hold of a roll, she grabs the open end, and starts running with it - leaving a stream of white all over my house!
If she happens to get a used kleenex or a napkin, she will shred it into a million pieces, within seconds!
She hasn’t pottied in the house for almost a month - and before that puddle, it had been two months. So, I guess she is pretty close to being house broken, but I do take her outside a LOT.
How are your babies doing?
Amen.

Years ago, I played collegiate soccer as a goalkeeper. It was more fun than I can describe here, but all that fun came at a hefty priceone I continue to pay today. Being a goalie means that you are constantly throwing your body into harms way to prevent the other team from scoring, often resulting in injuries. During the course of one season, I suffered a broken leg, several cracked ribs, a separated shoulder, and a concussion! Today, especially on cold days, I am visited by painful reminders of those broken bones.
David also had reminders of broken bones, but his injuries were spiritual, not physical. After Davids moral collapse involving an affair with Bathsheba and the murder of her husband, God firmly disciplined him. But then David turned to Him in repentance and prayed, Make me hear joy and gladness, that the bones You have broken may rejoice (Ps. 51:8).
Gods chastening was so crushing that David felt like his bones were broken. Yet he trusted that the God of grace could both repair his brokenness and rekindle his joy. In our own failure and sin, its a comfort to know that God loves us enough to pursue and restore us with His loving discipline.
Read: Psalm 51:1-13
LOL, happy weekend Teenie.
Thank you, potlatch, and the same to you!
The temptation of Satan, is alive and well in this society today. Beware!
Let us look to God for our good, let us grow in the image of Jesus the Christ, let us know His word, and let us be obedient to it, let us walk with God daily. Let us pray for our nation, our fellow man, and tell about Jesus in word and deed, in Jesus name, amen.
LOL....too cute!
