Forck family was flying from Missouri to Orlando, Florida for vacation Three-year-old daughter, Lucy, was detained for further testing ahead of family's February 8 flight Stuffed animal 'Lamby' was confiscated Lucy suffers from spinal bifida and is in a wheelchair TSA later admitted girl should never have been threatened with patdown
The parents of a toddler with spinal bifida are outraged after TSA officials forced their daughter to undergo a series of additional security measures ahead of their flight to Disney World.
Nathan and Annie Forck were flying out of their home state of Missouri on a February 8 flight bound for Orlando, Florida with their wheelchair-bound daughter Lucy and their two other children.
Mrs Forck took a six-minute video detailing their toddlers cries as she said through tears that she didnt want to go to Disney World anymore, and is claiming the TSA discriminates against people who use mobility devices.

TSA - making us safe by tormenting the mentally and/or physically challenged.
Here's what I wanna know: how could the mother film her daughter crying for 6 minutes, leaving her daughter in distress at the hands (literally, look at the purple gloves in another photo) of these ____?
LOL!
Is that photo touched-up in any way - ???
The answer? Here’s a hint: a chance at 15 minutes of fame!
Because the mother probably would have been arrested.
Ban the queeran! Outlaw islame!
It has NO PLACE in any CIVILIZED society.
Look, I get it. Common sense says that little girl was not a problem. We’ve tossed out common sense for political correctness. However, while I understand the parents being uncomfortable, them making a big deal over this and dragging it out for a half hour, only terrified the little girl. If they wanted to complain later, it would have been been better. The little girl didn’t know what was going on, and I know I would have been scared as a kid in that situation with my parents arguing and officers with gloves on standing there. If I was her parent, I’d tell her they weren’t going to hurt her and were just checking her as they check everybody to make sure that no bad things are brought on the plane and the plane is safe for everyone.
Yes, because all little girls should learn to submit to government employees at the earliest opportunity, no matter what said employees do to them.
What if she hadn’t taped the episode? Her (the family’s) word vs the TSA staff? There was nothing anyone could have done to help the little girl, short of leaving the airport. They would have forfeited their entire vacation and TSA was doing a good job of ruining it already. The entire family was there and TSA was in complete control of them, as they are of all passenger. The TSA agent even told the mother she couldn’t tape what was going on.
If you want to argue the TSA’s policies, I have no problem with that. My thing is that arguing in front of the little girl obviously had her terrified these people were going to physically harm her and cause her pain in some way.
Terrorists come in all shapes and sizes. You can pack a lot of C-4 in to a stuffed bunny.

The TSA are a bunch of failed chicken fryers. How can you expect them to competently secure an airport?
I don’t find any easy answer to this. I may well have gotten myself arrested had I been in that situation.
Still, had the parents prepared themselves and their 3 children for this experience? Surely they are not so naive! This is not the first time this has happened (eg, 11 months ago, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zl8mjVFnk00 ) The screening info is (acc article) on the TSA website, passengers who can neither stand nor walk will be screened by a thorough patdown while they remain seated.
//Mrs Forcks responds: You cant touch my daughter unless I can record it, and later adds [half talking to herself, realizing how wrong this is]: The problem is, I dont allow anyone to touch my little daughter.//
you say “LOL. Is that photo touched-up in any way”
??????????????
Yeah - it’s real funny - watch the video. the mother tried to keep her voice calm so as not to tramatize the poor little girl more -
I’m glad she wasn’t intimidated into not videoing - 20 minutes of this travesty. Yeah - real funny
