If you want to argue the TSA’s policies, I have no problem with that. My thing is that arguing in front of the little girl obviously had her terrified these people were going to physically harm her and cause her pain in some way.
And where do you propose a three year old girl should have gone while the TSA agents and the parents had a discussion?
Why do you want a three year old girl to feel safe when government agents want to inappropriately touch a prepubescent child?
If you, an adult, choose to submit to that treatment, that is your decision.
The child was upset because of what the government employees did to her—what sane adult takes a child’s stuffed toy? What sane adult inappropriately touches a child’s genitals? The kid knows she wasn’t seeing the doctor or getting a diaper change.
Notice how the government employee squawks in indignation when Mommy videotapes the scene-—they wouldn’t object to videotaping if they didn’t feel guilt at what they were doing to a preschooler.
