Hello, Miserare :)
OMG you’re right! They look exactly the same.
I’m sorry, this group does nothing for me...nor do many of “todays” groups...I miss the hard edge look of the rockers of my year group.....druggies, yes...but at least they looked like they were men! (well most of them) ;-)
Amen.
WHilke we are at it, I am not all that enamoured by a married woman parancing about in her bare midriff with a bunch of boys on stage........(Damn, I AM getting old!) LOL
I don’t know if you guys have discussed Ryan’s ex girlfriend but I still get a laugh over how her $100k worth of jewels disappeared from a car right before he publicly dumps her. Gossip is that the dump was really over her brother.
Maybe one day he will come out.
I don’t mind One Republic...but I have never been on the Kat McPhee bandwagon...and I really don’t like her singing this...I don’t think of her as a rocker chick-no matter how hard she tries.
I miss the yellow dress.
Katharine McPhee Distances Herself From the Show She Ruined

Katharine McPhee

KatharineYou may remember Katharine McPhee, the bratty girl from season 5 of American Idol who was good looking but came across as entitled. Over the years, she has had many failures, almost enough to rival Carly Smithson. First, she insulted her first single many times, hurting its chances of succeeding. Then she released “Open Toes” - one of the most VFTW worthy songs ever recorded by an Idol contestant - and insinuated that gay men would love the song because they all wear open toed women’s shoes. Tired of failing at music, she turned to failing in movies like the unpopular The House Bunny. After being dropped by her record label, she went into a desperate sprial to find something that would work, trying singing in Japanese airline commercials, on the Barbie movie soundtrack, on Randy Jackon’s album, putting out a jazz album, and singing at Walmart. All of these things failed. She even tried dying her hair blonde and looked incredibly ridiculous for attention. We have no idea why people kept giving her chance after chance - we can only assume her parents are loaded.
Then it seemed like she would finally succeed. Katharine was tapped to star in the incredibly big budget show Smash. How she landed the role, no one will ever know, but the show was promoted to ridiculous lengths to make sure it would be a success and millions upon millions were thrown at people to pretend they liked it. And still... the show failed miserably. Now Katharine is distancing herself from the show, according to the New York Daily News. She is apparently refusing to do interviews about Smash and she doesn’t want her name linked to the show. So after being given a tenth or eleventh chance at a career, Katharine is ungrateful and throwing the show under the bus.
So let’s take bets. Where will Katharine show up next? What will be her next big failure? She is unwilling to give up, so stay tuned for continued hilarity.

Yeah, it’s like the subplots get a few too many branches.
So does every red blooded heterosexual man in America ;-)
He dumped Julianne? He is gay.
Hmmm...interesting.
I love Keith Urban.
Evening, Ma’am :)
She is just a publicity whore that is also arm candy to some much older but VERY wealthy man........I see a drug overdose in her future..........mark my words.
40 minutes into the show and no results drama yet.
I love Keith Urban too! I have seen him in concert many times and it is so much better than what we are seeing on Idol tonight! He is a fantastic guitarist too!
Hello, Peggy! :)
“Katherine and he McPhee’s”, as TOL used to call her.
She’s on this “Smash” show, but no way I’d watch that. I tried “Glee” and the
homosexual agenda was so sick I’d think it wouldn’t be any different even
though it has Jennifer Hudson on it now.
