In the pimp spot is Amber. She chooses another Kelly Clarkson song, "A Moment Like This." It starts off squeaky.
I'm suspicious of these victory songs, singing it like you've already won. Manipulative.
An undeserved standing-O from the judges.
Keith: That was incredible. Love that song for you. Crazy big note at the end? So easy. Effortlessness about your performing.
Minaj: Ber, that was the best performance of the night. (no it wasn't) That last note was giving me Whitney. Your charisma, your grace. So simple for you. I can't wait to see you spread your wings and fly. Great job!
Randy: The greatest American Idol song ever. You blew it out of the box tonight. You feel like you belong here. So beautiful and so perfect. Guys, where are you at? The girls are you killing you!
Mariah: So beautiful. Can't be explained. To critique it would be unnecessary.
A little extra pimping: Amber's mom (I guess that's who she is) walks up on stage to give her a gift and a hug. (the gift is in a bag. We don't see what it is)

I agree....and I hasten to duck for cover...I think Mel Tillis may be the one (or should be)

She was a hell of a lot better than the first guy and they dont like her???? WTF I don't understand that either. Unless the judges and producers had a conclave of their own and decided to throw Janelle under the bus.

Janelle is a cutie! And I like her personality. She was one of the few that looked like she was enjoying herself tonight.

Hi! :)
Finally catching up.
Even though FR was fast, the show made it feel slow.

Construction paper, paste and Sheriff Bart — a new meme for us Blazing Snarkers! :)
(Good catch and I am more like Scott Baio than Cleavon Little...)

I hate the way they trash good performances when the judges are ready for someone to go.
