Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedevs off-air comments that Russian Presidents are given a secret file about extraterrestrials living among us created much media interest. Most news reports claimed that Medvedev was simply joking. His apparent reference to the Men In Black movie as a source of information on a super secret agency that monitors extraterrestrials on Earth was commonly cited as key evidence that he was in fact joking. The reasoning is that no political leader would refer reporters to a comedy to clarify national policy. It has now emerged that Medvedev was not referring to the Men in Black comedy after all, but to a recent Russian television documentary titled Men in Black that reveals many details about an extensive cover up of extraterrestrial life visiting Earth.
However, a more accurate translation of what Medvedev actually said about the Men in Black phenomenon was: You can receive more detailed information having watched the documentary film of the same name. So Medvedev was referring to a Russian documentary film titled Men in Black, not the Hollywood blockbuster by the same name...
Russian Men In Black (MIB) documentary, a number of prominent UFO cases in Russia and the USA are discussed. The Roswell UFO crash is covered, along with a number of extraterrestrial abduction cases, and UFOs disabling nuclear weapons facilities. The documentary examines testimony that extraterrestrial bases have been established on Earth, and that some are in restricted US military areas with the full knowledge of the Pentagon. The documentary even goes on to seriously discuss President Eisenhowers alleged meeting with extraterrestrials, where agreements were reached with some of the visitors giving them permission to take some of the Earths resources in exchange for advanced technology...

W00t!
FYI: I just dictated the first chapter of the late Igor’s personal history, with the Dragon software I got last year...(or maybe it was the year before...I’ll have to look at the box.)
With luck I will get it done this spring and get it to Kinko’s for printing. There will be several copies, since so many people want them. (I think you wanted one...)
Once I get his done, I will begin my own, and see what I can come up with, since I don’t have to type. Since this is the first time I’ve done anything more than experiment with it, I have to be careful and make sure to make the corrections in it. The program isn’t used to my speech patterns, yet, so the typos are pretty funny.
Wish me luck!
(The box says “01-05-2012”)
[Now I’m excited...]
Now where did you get that graphic?
“How do you plan on tanning in THAT?”
‘It’s not tanning I’m trying to do, it’s not getting eaten by the fog I am doing!’
Hey, that’s really great! Glad the Dragon is working for you; even having to do some corrections still beats typing hands-down.
Some days, my hands hurt too much to do much with them, so the Dragon software is a real boon for me, since I have so many documents that need to be put into the computer.
Some of my late relatives were prolific writers on a daily basis. Makes me breathless to think about it.
;o]
Afternoon! I took a batch of kids to their ride to Gastonia for science class, and sent some of the others outside. And I picked up some Girl Scout cookies ... this will make teh byos happy.
I don't know how to type hands-down. I only know how to type hands-up.
I remember when the 386 was a new chip and people were just coming out with software to listen when you talk. One of our engineers was experimenting with the software. I asked him how it was doing. He said it was OK, but you had to remember when it was on. He said he was trying it out and someone knocked on his door. He turned to talk with the someone and when he turned back his hard drive was deleting itself. He has no idea what he said to cause it to interpret that but ...
(You see what happens when I wander off from here - I get accused of picking on you!) ;-)
Lablady asked me if I wanted some GS Cookies, and I told her only if she was buying.
It’s hard to believe it’s that time of year again.
Ummm... You have one of those funky Microsoft ergonomic keyboards, eh?
Sorry about that,Thinks got rapidly out of control there...Wow! :)
It's really a matter of my knuckles only bending one way.
I remember one continuum where every other finger went the opposite way. It was a very peaceful continuum because people couldn't make fists so there were no fighters. Also, instead of left and right handed people we had people whose index fingers curled up and those whose index fingers curled down. That would have made gun manufacturing interesting, but they didn't have guns. Golf and baseball were really something.
I knew Moochie was a Klingon!
London Fog, I presume? Can’t quite make out the label, but it appears to be the genuine article. If so, have one like it in my closet; rain in and around San Francisco sometimes warrants it. And, too, there’s the truism, “The coldest winter I ever spent was a summer in San Francisco.” Makes one glad of the warm lining.
Think that is what Joe is joking about.
I'm not in London,60 miles away in the Midlands.
The old smog problem was sorted out with the 'clean air act' back in the '60s.
You still can't beat the week long freezing fogs, they produce a really pretty winter scene.
Good night. :)
Yes, it’s that time ... Lent! I bought from three different girls, so we’ll have quite a few. I know I’ll need to get more, because Pat told me I didn’t order a kind he likes.
I was going to give the byos some earlier, but they wouldn’t stay outside like I told them too.
LOL!
I’ll let the Lenten Cookie season pass this year. Although I’m thinking seriesly of having a mini-retreat here in the next few days. I have to wash some dainties tomorrow, but that will be the end of the “outside”
Seems like a good time to give up a lot of things...hmmmm....food for thought...
