What are your three favorite science fiction movies?
I have thought about that, tumblindice, and I can only give you my biased answer.
They want to destroy what they created because of what we have become.
I ask myself if I created mankind, what would I do with it?
The answer I came up with, considering our world today, is to start again.
Which refers me to a line in the movie,”Sometimes, in order to create, you must first destroy”, which ironically is a Joseph Stalin quote, which is kinda creepy...
Aliens, some of the best lines.
Bladerunner, Outland, Mars Attacks!
On that note, They Live with Rod Peiper and Keith David. Great movie. “I came here to chew bubble gum and Kick Ass”.
‘2001; A space Odyssey’. Not an easy movie to sit through; Turn all the lights off and let the movie get into your head. THEN it’s awesome.
“Forbidden Planet still rocks.”
I think so too. Even the special effects are still decent even after about 55 years!
Agree and you just got to love Ricardo Montablams acting. “Alive,Buried Alive”, Kirk “KAHN, KAHNNNNNNN!KAHNNNN!”
Frequency, the ORIGINAL Star Wars, and the new Star Trek.
Ahhhhh, 2001: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ML1OZCHixR0

Malcolm McDowell, David Warner , Mary Steenburgen.
HG Wells in McDougall’s “I’ll have a Big Mac, Fries and Tea”
Though not straight sci fi, I think the miniseries of Steven Kings “The Stand” is excellent.
You keeed! You keeed!
Resident Evil
Ultraviolet
Donnie Darko
Sounds like that creepy vampire in `Thirty Days of Night’: “That which can be broken, must be broken.”
What David the robot said seemed like a clue: “Why did you make me?”
S.H.I.E.L.D.’s Nick Fury is right, ayup ayup. We need bigger WMD weapons so we can tell whomever drops in to get the `ell off our lawn!
Haven’t seen it mentioned yet ... Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy
In no particular order.
