There are many powerful outside influences on both Obama and Hillary and many high-level American politicians.
These links are mostly from wikipedia, so it can't be said that these are "conservative conspiracy theories".
There are myriad think tanks, organizations, governmental agencies, NGO's (non-governmental organizations) that do a lot together to strategize, gather information, and take actions of all kinds, i.e., political, economic, academic, etc., doing what they "think is best for... USA/World/Themselves/etc."
From the early 1900's, NGOs have had extremely significant impact on U.S. government policies - the first major one being, perhaps, the design of the Post-WWI negotiations (Council on Foreign Relations). Now, if the "help" is in a "good" direction, we tend to give a pass to the idea that our elected officials are relying on unelected groups to essentially develop policy. But such a pass is the beginning of a slippery slope that leaves us open to problems. Socialism had targeted the U.S. university system in order to enter the upper echelons of American leadership as early as 1905 when Upton Sinclair founded the Intercollegiate Socialist Society.
NGOs are the real strategists and policy makers that most politicians listen to for advice; politicians who work well with them receive their full backing and rise to power. Politicians who don't rock the boat are not opposed while others, of course, have the NGOs working against them.
George Soros runs the most significant network of NGOs; his political actions started years ago, perhaps here...

... this is, of course, only a small sample.
The Clintons/Obama or any one of the many Socialist/Communist/New Left that are presently well-placed in the U.S. government are all really on the same page, strategically, as the left-wing NGOs sampled above; they're on their boards, give speeches to them, etc. There are also NGO connections to Russian and islamic leadership, obviously, as the NGOs have organizations and considerable connections in terms of board members, staffers and funding both in Russia and in islamic nations.
Many of these NGO people, including Soros himself, publicly speak about their plans and goals, which are basically toppling the Judeo-Christian U.S. and remaking the world, one nation at a time, according to their ideas of right and wrong. Of course, how it all works out for the citizens of these nations, individually, is of no great to concern to the "thought leaders" in these circles, they're "concerned" with whole populations, not individuals. The intelligentsia that make up these NGOs, however, leave off the idea of toppling the U.S. from their websites, publications, etc. They do publish their plans and discussions about drug legalization, spending billions in the third world, social justice, etc., in a nice sanitized way, though all of it is either direct or indirect "code" for efforts designed to weaken America and other civilized Western nations from within, with long run goals of planned governments and economies. It's literally a combination of Walmart, Soros, the CIA, etc., all working to "fix the world".
The past few decades demonstrate the tactics today's NGOS are using for implanting external groups to foment revolution and topple regimes. It's painfully obvious that this is what the so-called Arab spring amounts to - efforts to topple regimes using external revolutionaries. The U.S. government and other governments and various NGOs are participating much more openly than in the "old days", as they do this in the name of progress and it's been made quite politically palatable. Both Syria and Libya are on the stated U.S. government agenda; both Presidential candidates support regime change in Syria, so both candidates are acceptable to U.S.-aligned interests. Obama is simply tied to the New Left directly while Romney is aligned with those who subscribe more to a conventional American NGO viewpoint (clearly conservative Americans should place enormous pressure on him and track everything he does when elected). Many corporations are on the boards of these NGOs; they know that the plan is to remake the mideast. This is the nexus between big business, ideological philanthropy and government.
There appear to be 3 primary forces working in concert in the case of Arab uprisings: the U.S. government, the revolutionaries and one or more sophisticated NGO 3rd parties, and all three forces are thinking that they (individually) will come out on top in the end, i.e., are using the other two to achieve their ends.
Big business connections of these NGOs that are big publicly-held companies are simply working on securing company profits. The billionaire idealogue is different, however, he's working on his own plans. That's the dangerous part; he has plans for the U.S. itself, and he has thousands of influential Americans signed on to some version of his game plan that they perceive.
Trouble is with all NGOs, they are unelected, despite the fact that the NGOs tout their support of "democracy". So however well-intended they are, they inherently and arrogantly imply that both citizens and governments need NGOs to dictate to them how to live their lives, and citizens have no opportunity to refuse once the NGO gets enough support for whatever plans they come up with. Suddenly there is a regime change and everybody has to just... deal. Whether it's Soros's palliative care (death care) initiatives, or the New Left's long-term goal of eliminating any meaningful observance of faith, powerful secular intellectuals think nothing of condemning those who would decline their New World Order.
There are some NGOs that are more conservative/small-business oriented, but far more that are leftist. The lefties, of course, have been working, for over 100 years, on somehow "undoing" America, despite the fact that their theories, like Upton Sinclair's experimental town in New Jersey, have always resulted in things being far worse than if they had just let well enough alone and gotten a real job.
The really big secret that all news media is hush about - Obama and Hillary had everything to lose, politically, and nothing to gain - by refusing to give the order to save the Ambassador and the staff. The news media focuses instead on debating whether the administration said it was planned or spontaneous, terrorism or a demonstration - that's the distraction that keeps the world from doing some simple logical deduction. Obama was not against ordering dangerous operations in general, since he had no philosophical qualms about ordering the UBL kill; what we saw was only a resistance on Obama's part to authorize the UBL kill until he was cornered into doing so. Obama and Hillary both could have looked like heros if they fulfilled their duty and simply said yes to attempting a rescue and let the military do it's job, even if it failed. At least they would have tried, and Americans would largely have rallied behind both Obama and Hillary. In fact, Obama could have used FDR's old "don't change horses in the middle of the stream" line and say he is needed in order to "finish the job" on al qaeda. The only logical reason for them to take a dive and do something so vile and politically costly to themselves was that they had some sort of understanding regarding what some other person or group wanted them to do - which was obviously to simply wait for notification that Ambassador Stevens was being held hostage. If this was indeed the plan, it even went so far as to keep security minimal at the Consulate all year long, which avoided the obvious red flag that would have gone up if security was suddenly reduced just before 9/11/2012. The security professionals are all perplexed by their requests being turned down from the start. If this theory is true, it offers a straightforward explanation of resistance to providing security in one of the most dangerous places in the world. Such an October surprise, which would have turned this Presidential election on it's head, would have been in the works for perhaps a year. And no one in the administration would really have to even know about it, except for the video cover story; it could have been all planned externally to the government, since the standard Obama administration "hold back" policy was all the attackers would have needed to buy them a few hours time.
The big hush is because the New Left permeates government - most politicians, even conservatives, are well aware of this, they just say the person is "liberal". Many so-called liberal politicians have histories of communist sympathy that are kept quiet in the news, and left-wing NGOs drive much of our public policy. America has an islam problem which has been initiated by it's communist problem. American liberal politicians, of course, don't outwardly make a show of supporting Russia, though many publicly support smaller communist nations. The NGOs are not completely working for Russia or the U.S. - they have their own agendas. In many ways, the NGOs are working against both Russia and the U.S. in the long-term, while also working with both as well in near-term operations. This is why intelligence communities are continually in "ambigous" situations.
The big hush is because NGOs have formed a shadow party within the Democratic party. The only reason the Democratic party is competitive at this point is because of the campaign finance reform that was engineered to allow NGOs to provide heavy funding to Democratic politicians like Obama and Hillary who are aligned with them.
The big hush is because the news media should be all over NGOs like ticks on a hound with front-page news investigations, but instead they have become mere pawns. No one in the media even ever mentions communism or the New Left despite the fact that they are widely written about; the anti-McCarthyism ploy succeeded, the populace is told that communism does not exist any more. Muckrakers, magnates and madmen have actually joined together to entice then enslave Americans to the immorality of political correctness, consumerism and secular humanism. In order to beat this, Americans themselves are going to have to find creative ways to investigate it - and enlighten enough of the nation - to turn back the tide. Holding Obama and Cabinet-level members of the administration responsible for this refusal to preserve, protect and defend is a great place to start.
It is up to us to determine why the Obama Administration has chosen to Cover Up what happened.
What are they trying in vain to hide?
The longer Secretary of Statements Hilly takes to get to the bottom of this, the more obvious it is that the Benghazi Cover Up was hastily designed to hide a VERY BIG US SECRET TOPIC.
My guess is that the CIA had discovered that some of the 20,000 Libyan Missiles were found in the possession of Ansar al-Sharia, or al-Qaeda who were then shipping them to Syria, and Obama knew all about it.
Can Hilly and Billy keep this a secret until after November 6, 2012?
Their lives just might depend on it - - - .
Meanwhile, Obama and Biden have lied to the American People, as well as their key officials have repeatedly lied to us.
The White House Benghazi Cover Up had closed ranks behind their Commander In Chief.
Could Obama have survived the November Election with the embarrassment of a resurgent al-Qaeda in Libya?
Possibly, IF he would have told the truth at his first public announcement, and rallied Americans to not change horses in the middle of the stream, etc. etc., etc.
No way in Hell, once Obama lied.

I remember General Dempsey blaming not only an obscure video, but an even more obscure pastor who liked the video, and blaming him (Terry Jones) for the murder of Ty Woods.
Top U.S. military officer (Dempsey) calls pastor (Terry Jones) over anti-Islam film
http://uk.news.yahoo.com/top-u-military-officer-calls-pastor-over-film-190209814.html
What a WEASEL, General Dempsey! Dempsey was in the room watching the whole terrorist attack unfold. He probably watched and did nothing while Ty Woods was murdered. Then he later blames an obscure guy who liked an obscure video.
Dempsey is a Lying Sack of Excrement.
The gun running operation is quite public on the internet though Hillary and Panetta try to avoid talking about it - it’s always been a very poorly kept secret.
After all, the U.S. admitted helping the Libyan rebels.
Nothing to hide there.
The failure to order the rescue is the dereliction of duty that is exposed on the internet but avoided by the snews media.
There’s just no reason to “wait and see”, an administration that did it’s duty would initiate efforts to save the staff. Every time, there’s no valid excuse.
Determining their motivation for such a gross dereliction of duty is what will lead to finding out about the serious wrongdoing, whatever that is.
The refusal to bring security to standard recommended levels all year is a telltale sign to me.
The Congressional testimony showed the professional security officers utterly baffled as to the denial of their requests.
Their testimony, IMHO, shows that they did not know the real plot.
” - - - The refusal to bring security to standard recommended levels all year is a telltale sign to me.”
That is the most solid observation about Benghazi.
As yet, it cannot reconciled to anything yet proposed by the Obama Regime.
BTW, what if Obama was trading small arms in exchange for some of the missing Libyan Missiles?
If that is true, then the 4 murdered Americans in Benghazi could have been killed with arms and ammunition supplied to them by “Fast and Furious” Obama.
I don’t have enough tin foil around for this post
No need, there’s funding for the Arab spring projects since they are official and even public. Everyone knows the weapons are going to Syria, Russia is bothered by this and is solidifying their defense of Syria. The U.S. operations are public knowledge, though the U.S. government officially keeps out of the Syrian “revolution”. This way the U.S. and Russia don’t have to be officially, public irate with each other and just let their proxies fight it out. I just don’t see much with arms, Syria, Russia or Iran going on there.
The theory of a Soros-backed October surprise for the election is the most plausible to me at this point.
A) Soros has a history of spending billions on political activism around the world; it would fit his pattern, cost him very little and be very easy for his network.
B) He was instrumental in the 2004 Gore campaign; he has an admitted serious interest in American politics
C) Much of this administration has deep connections to NGOs in general and Soros network in particular. Hillary and Soros have great mutual respect for each other, and the Obama administration has appeared to be in lock-step with the Arab spring, which Soros is very much in line with. The Soros network has been very helpful in partnering with the U.S. government, so he could communicate with the highest levels of the administration as necessary.
D) Soros would have had the sense to start planning well over a year ago and he is thoroughly connected with not only the U.S. government but also the “rebels”; his network is a big part of the Arab spring.
E) Only simple messages would need to be relayed: to the U.S. government politicians, just clear out security, and should something happen, just wait and all will work out well. To the rebels, I’ll get security cleared out and get the Ambassador there on 9/11, just grab him alive, do the hostage routine, and agree to a release prior to the election after allowing Obama to be the hero. It would be very simple, not involve anyone in the administration very much and the rebels would scatter when the operation was complete. I see it all part of Obama’s walking the tightrope, holding back and messing up America while trying to appear as much as possible to Americans like he is really trying to help America, and letting the muslim world have free rein as much as he can as pResident. Not very difficult, does not require much coordination or even communication, just doubletalk and a complicit news media.
Just curious, what’s the craziest part ?
a lot to digest
unfortunately, when it comes to places like Syria
a table produced by some software like the “Abel Danger” program (either hidden or abandoned by the DOD)
would help “connect the dots” as to who in all you referenced is actually envolved
and missing from what you did reference
are dozens of Saudi funded foundations operating in the U.S. and connecting directly to Saudi government funding or other international Saudi funded foundations, and all of them active and influential in U.S. Middle East policy circles, in and out of government (the report on Iraq from the committe chaired by James Baker read as if it was written in Riyad and prioritized the claim that Israel was responsible for most of the turmoil in the Middle East);
when the fact is that a major part of the turmoil in the Middle East is the ramped up and ongoing global proxy war for sumpremacy in Islam between the radical fundamentalist Shia theocrats in Iran and those just like them allied with or supported by them against the just as radical fundamentalist Wahabi-Saudis and those allied with or funded by them
and the further fact is that whatever the soros funded and other funded NGOs think they are and have been doing with regard to Syria they are, on the ground and in terms of the future prospects there, in second place to the Wahabi-Saudis and the Muslim Brotherhood
the Marxists and Liberals are playing with fire - against western civilization, making allies of convenience with Middle East interests, Islamists and otherwise, and ignoring that their temporary symbiosis is working both ways and culturally working against ALL western value systems
as usual, Marxists especially are traitors to “native” interests of their own people, because their work must tear down the values NOT set my Marxist/Socialist/Progressive dialectics in order to build something in its place, and in the tyranny of Communism they can proceed without opponents, but in democratic societies the tear-down process is not ignored by others seeking to build on the cultural rubble and there - in Europe especially and more so than the U.S., the Islamist agenda is winning
I would suggest you do more research, like from Memri and others, and add the Middle East funded components to your list of NGOs, foundations and the like that are as much inside the “Arab Spring”, Syria and elsewhere as any Western interests.
Why is the US State Department donating what could be up to a million dollars to the New America Foundation?
US tax dollars?
Saving for further reading...thank you.
These are facts that you mock, with a theory attached to the facts. There are influential mega wealthy powers who have crafted a global society of like minded mega wealthy, who naturally fund and reward and influence the founding institutions of the USA, and reward the players who advance their interests for them.
Is that so hard for you to imagine, as you sit there in the ashes of your non-existent argument to the contrary of this column.
I mean, why comment? Maybe you could pen a vanity exemplary of your own superior knowledge and evidence of how much tin is in this foil.
Liberty Lobby and the Spotlight got old a long time ago
“Liberty lobby” and “Spotlight” is the best you can do?
THIS serves as your tomb of evidence, or are these mouth breather mutterings meant to serve as your vanity post?
Figures. I think we get it. This is your schlick to replace having nothing.
Look you conspiracy whacks have been throwing nonsense out for years. Here’s what I KNOW to be true: A) Four murdered in Libya B) The WH situation room had real time infor and video C) CIA denies ordering anyone to stand down D)Insiders have released enpugh info that it is likely to point to either Tapper or the Pres as to that order D) The administration lied about this and continues t5o lie about it.
I don’t need to associate ayone or anything else with this muderous assault by the ROP.
So take a chill pill and quit trying to tie everything back to the CFR and other boogeymen.
Vanity post???? Not hardly. I grew tired of the conspiracy theories somewhere back in the early 70s.
The ONLY thing of importance at this juncture is that we get O OUT of the WH and elect as many conservatives as possible.
No go and finish prepping for 1999
