Who am J?
Stupid swipe. Posting from a phone. I not J, I’m not one of the men in black, really, trust me... Although swipe correction does make me laugh from time to time. The other day I tried to swipe “obamacare” as one word and it came up as “insane” LOL...all too true.
Obama is frozen toast!
In 2008 there were Obama bumper stickers and lawn signs everywhere here in Vermont, and also in Maine where we spend the summer.
Now I still see some Obama 2008 bumper stickers on cars, but very, very few Obama 2012 stickers.
And where I saw hundreds of Obama lawn signs, I have seen maybe one or two.
Now, it could be that Obama isn’t bothering to campaign in Vermont, because there’s no way he can lose it. But still, I’d expect these folks to be ordering signs and stickers on the internet. But no.
There are tons of signs for Schumlin for governor, Bernie for Senator, and so forth, but none for Obama.
I expect he’ll win the state, but the enthusiasm is gone.
When I dine with my liberal inlaws, they spend some time bashing Romney—last night it was Bindergate (which I pointed out was a rather trivial issue)— but they have virtually nothing to say about Obama.
“saw a Romney bumper sticker...on a Prius...in Malibu CA”
It’s a myth for every Freeper who don’t know Malibu, CA. I’m not bragging but I do go to some shindigs at the coast (I must be really good at hiding my political leanings) and there are surprisingly, right-wingers who live there. They just manage to shut up and let the loud-mouth liberals do the talking.
I’m in Hollywood and a Romney sticker is never found here. But guess what? My buds in the biz who are Pubbies’ are damn excited. They are also soooooo excited to come to work on November 7 just to see their lib moron co-workers cry their eyes out hehe
The crowds at Obama’s Rallies are falling off, They just had to borrow 20 million dollars for his campaign, even a few Newspapers are supporting Romney now, The kicker though is that Lyndsey Graham our little pretty Senator from the Carolina’s has now said he is backing Romney. He never said a word before now, but now the little turncoat sissy wants onto the train.
Romney will win.
All of these “Romney will win because” articles scare me half to death. Too many of them could spell complacency.
Well, I see no Doh’bama signs in Northern Virginia, plenty of Romney signs, and my true believer Obama zombie friends are apocalypticlly barking insane. Win or lose I am amused.
Word has it that ‘0bama 2012’ bumper stickers in Southern California are not a common sight, unlike 2008. A one hour drive on their busiest freeway (405) in medium traffic only yielded ONE sticker.. ONE. Quite a contrast from 2008. I’m guessing 0bama’s support in Cal. will be down as much as 40% from 2008. There’s no telling what the Fascists will do in the North, however.
I happen to know the guy in Malibu who drives a Pious with a Romney sticker. (Long story.) He’s my cousin. He is the only registered Republican there and the Pious is... GASP! stolen from Berkeley.
The 25,000 Pound Gorilla in the room wants to know which Romney we will get? here’s hoping he is going to do the right thing.
I am in Columbia, MO—fairly liberal college town (but not totally off the reservation) and it was plastered wall to wall with Obama crap in 2008. It was ridiculous. The entire town looked like a giant ad for Obama. This year, there are more Romney signs up. I have maybe, and I mean maybe seen 10-15 Obama signs in yards and a handful of bumper stickers.
In another surprise, even here, there are more Akin signs than McCaskill. I think Akin will still win, but had he not gaffed, he would have won by 10-12 points.
Dude, anecdotes, yours and mine are as good as the polls. And as bad. We dunno. Simply dunno. The nation has been dummied up, and that I find troubling.
Saw a Romney sticker on a Volt smack dab in the heart of Sillycon Valley a few weeks back.
LOL. That could be a Leno joke.
I live in Chicago ground zero.4 years ago everyone had a aobama button on jacket or backpack. Ive seen ONE this year. Just one.
All over LA on the road today. Saw more Obama stickers than Romney.
