Per Twitter: Romney moving 60 staffers to PA
Twitter | 10/20/2012 | LS

According to twitter, Romney team moving 60 more people to PA. But here are the other two interesting Twitter posts: Obama starting to release internal #s on PA---desperation firewall move? Then this: someone (apparently doing "down ticket" polling in OH reported and I quote "VERY good numbers for Romney in OH." I would guess that the only statewide (as opposed to regional) polling would be for Mandell, but that wasn't clear.

At any rate, put these tidbits together and it sounds like both Romney and Obama know the real story about OH and that the battle is shifting to PA. Just my take.

Ok, I see Kristinn’s post above confirms, but it does appear they are expanding their operation.

From what I understand you can vote without ID but on a provisional ballot.

No, that was the law that was passed. That's what will happen in 2013 and subsequent elections - assuming another judge does not subvert the legislative branch.

The judge ruled that IDs can be checked, but IDs are not required and people can still vote even if they do not have an ID. So essentially the voter ID law is not in effect in this election.

For example, see here.

Ryan was in PA today or was planning to visit. Good to see this state in play.

We have a decent chance of winning here in blue Oregon. Romney signs are everywhere and we have to sell them for $5/pop.

Pray for America

Shouldn't Romney already have 100’s of volunteers in PA?

With voter ID, fraud will be more difficult to commit.

A judge disallowed voter ID for this election.

He disallowed REQUIRING it this year—asking for it is still permitted and I hope every precinct carries that out. It will be somewhat of a deterrent and, among those who refuse to provide ID, there will be some fraudsters at least raising suspicions. I don’t know if poll watchers will be allowed to use their cell phones to take pictures of these “refusers”, but if they can and if they make note of the specific person in whose name they voted at that time—that could be very helpful later in “nailing” some folks.

I know Freedomworks, AFP, TPs, and American Majority have foot soldiers in PA doing a lot of ground work for quite some time.

I think PA, WI, IO start to fall like dominoes in Romney’s favor.

You mean IA? But still, it would be good to know Romney has locked up the populace of a certain Jupiter moon :)

Sorry about my mistake on Iowa. There is a certain city in northern-most Palm Beach County named Jupiter. You can rest assured Mitt Romney will carry Jupiter, FL, but I can’t say I know if he bought TV ad time on planet Jupiter or its satellite, Io.

I love that we have a bit of time for a little levity. This is an immensely tough and critical campaign. My oldest son is working on Cong. Paul Ryan’s advance team and is working closely with the congressman. I can only say from my son’s work on this team and meeting him, Paul Ryan is a very fine man. He is a family man, very decent. We Americans will be well served with him as our Vice President and with Gov. Romney as our Commander in Chief, God willing.

If we could get the Amish & Old Order Mennonites to turn out Romney would easily win both PA and OH. Hard to get them to vote though. The younger men (40 and under) are the most likely, followed by the really old guys. The women hardly ever do.

By playing in PA, Romney will help Senate candidate Tom Smith who is in a tight race with the incumbent Casey...Smith has been running a brilliant race against Casey, hitting him hard with excellent TV ads for months - good generic ads about such things a tax reform and using more of our own energy - while the best Casey has been able to come up with is accusing Smith of being a Tea Partier - it may be the other way around - Smith may actually be giving Romney a headstart-boost......

Starting to think the O camp talked a good game about holding all their 08 states except Indiana, hoping to distract Romney enough so that he wouldn’t properly allocate resources, all the while they knew they were going to have to hold the line in Ohio. But I don’t think they ever thought the campaign could go from “even North Carolina is still close” to “Ohio is crumbling and Pennsylvania is starting to tremble” this fast.

Germany was the greater threat to the US by far - mere months after Pearl Harbor they dominated the Atlantic seaboard of the US, sinking a massive tonnage of shipping in a short time.

What became known as the Cape Hatteras disaster was bloodier (though slower-moving) than Pearl Harbor and came just as close to knocking the US out of the war.

Check out, for instance: http://www.nps.gov/caha/historyculture/torpedo-junction.htm

They are moving from North Carolina. It was actually reported last night on MSNBC last night. Don’t ask me why my channel was on there. I was stunned they were discussing it.

He has far more than that-—these are PAID staff, not volunteers. Also, if it’s like OH, there are hundreds of FreedomWorks people and Tea Party activists there too.

But you know the Philly precincts are not going to ask for it - and that's where the fraud is.

Doesn’t each table have both a Republican and a Democrat worker—plus poll watchers? Even in Philadelphia?
