Alt title: "Shep On Thin Ice"

Last time I watched Shep Smith was his shameful Super Dome/Katrina coverage, I won't miss the guy.

Shemp is “popular”? With who? I turn FOX off when he comes on. He’s a girlyman.

“Shep is on really thin ice,” the former employee said. “If he wasn't so popular and highly rated (and highly paid) Roger [Ailes] would have yanked him off the air months ago.”

Nonsense. Smith frequently has the lowest ratings of the FNC evening schedule.

The issue is not do people who practice homosexuality have rights or not, the issue is whether or not we allow government to redefine marriage in a way that pleases the homosexual lobby.

I don’t want a government that is empowered to police what I do in the privacy of my own bedroom. I don’t know anyone else who does. If people want to practice sodomy that is their own private business, as distasteful as it may be to me and as much as God warns that He forbids it. However, gays do not leave it a private matter. They demand that I approve of their actions.

They do this when I own a bakery and politely decline to bake a cake to celebrate a same sex “marriage”. The demand that a wedding photographer accept the job of photographing that ceremony. The demand that a fast food chain pay a heavy price when its founder voices support for traditional marriage. And they demand the power to teach my child in school that since homosexual (same-sex) marriage is legal, therefore it is “normal” and legitimate, which it never can be.

Advocates and activists for same-sex marriage recoil in horror when anyone suggests that to be fair we must also allow polygamy. Yet their own argument supports it. I wonder how they are going to react when in a few years, their own children will be taught in a Utah public school that LDS-related polygamy is “normal” and legitimate.

But the difference is that LDS-related polygamists never demanded that I approve of what they were doing. And by now it is clear that approval is the thing that gays want most of all from the rest of us. Sorry, God defines marriage, not the Human Rights Campaign!

Hoover always screamed ‘liberal’ by her demeanor and viewpoints. Good riddance.

Shep Smith. Proof that, unlikely as it may seem, Rex Reed has fathered a child.

Dropped the television satellite service nearly a decade ago. Saw it coming. Where feminism enters, homosexualism follows. Have fun. Enjoy the slide.

I quit watching Shep several months ago, couldn’t take his snide attitude any more.

If you live and work in NY City, particularly Manhattan, there is no way to avoid it.

The group-think and pressure for conformity are intense there.

Megyn Kelly had begun to pall even before I found out she was a trendoid in the "marriage equality" movement.

Like that other Fox Kewpie doll, Margaret Hoover, Megyn Kelly is just too chirpy, too cute, too precious.

Hoover is gone ... unlamentedly so. I'm sure she fits in just fine over at CNN.

About the only thing I’ve watched on tv is a bit of Fox News and an occasional movie. HIV infected looking, botoxed Shep always gets muted. The Cox cable company gave me 3 differing billing amounts in the last 2 months, so the box is going back in the morning. Two words for them- Netflix and Hulu.

Smith is the most notable and frequent example to buck Fox News’ regular party line on the issue.

This guy has always been out of his depth. His entire schtick is opinionated half-cocked igborant outrage at exactly the wrong moment, as his sad knee-jerk performance early in the Trayvon debacle.

Can't stand the guy. A misplaced wannabe sports jock.

Fox News Channel is the right’s message machine?

When did that happen?

Did I miss something?

Shep injects his personal homo/liberal politics into the news. Can’t stand to watch him.

I find Stuart Varney to be a good watch. This morning he called out a guest as a liar and told him so and cut him off.
