There have been some dull opuses here at FR. It’s no wonder they’re met with such contempt and ridicule by other Freepers. No one likes boring. We like to be entertained, for crying out loud! Opus people, if you’re going to write an opus, make it worth our while.

As always, procrastination has put me in a bind. I’ve been trying to find a way back to my home planet but I’ve been having so much fun here that I didn’t try very hard. Now, time is running out and I’m getting a bit desperate.
It’s still not too late. I have a few weeks, but I am sweating a little.

I am leaving Free Republic because the UK gov’t decided it was a forum for “promoting intolerance” and the armed response unit is about to kick in my door.
I will meet them with the one anti-stab kitchen knife I was allowed to purchase under the new “pointed weapons control act” and my sub-12ft lbs muzzle energy airgun allowed under the firearms control act blazing.
