For decades, pioneer aviator Amelia Earhart was said to have disappeared over the Pacific on her quest to circle the globe along a 29,000-mile equatorial route.
Now, new information gives a clearer picture of what happened 75 years ago to Ms. Earhart and her navigator Fred Noonan, where they came down and how they likely survived for a while, at least as castaways on a remote island, catching rainwater and eating fish, shellfish, and turtles to survive.

That’s not the theory here.

I thought castaways always survived by having a soccer ball named Wilson and floating on a raft until they find a freighter.

On the atoll they met the Skipper, Gillian’s, the Millionaire (thou after Obama’s term he was middle-class) and his wife, the movie star, the professor and Mary Ann...

This article is about as important and relevant as your stupid Sarah Palin list was..........The list is important and relevant because it shows how unrealistic some of Sarah Palin supporters are.

Yawn! Amelia is dead! She didn’t get from Point A to Point B! Isn’t it more important to get the Muslim Terrorist Fraud OUT OF THE WHITE HOUSE before he kills all of us Americans and Our Precious AMERICA which he hates with a rabid passion?

The article said nothing, had no relevant information about its subject, and neither did your list.
However both of them (article, list) imply a total vacuousness of the mind of the poster.........

I was more of a Mrs. Howell kind of guy....what a lass. At the time I wasn't into older women, but now that some years have passed and upon viewing the old reruns I can see where I would have been attracted if I was that age then. kind of rambling but I think you get the point. However, even at this advanced age I still prefer Mary Ann.

Isnt it more important to get the Muslim Terrorist Fraud OUT OF THE WHITE HOUSE Actually, one of the things which best distinguishes conservatives from liberals is that conservatives don't obsess with politics 24/7/365.
We have real lives, containing other interests such as baseball, bluegrass music, model railroading, gardening, tweaking our barbecue sauce recipes....and for some, Amelia Earhart.
Back in the day, Free Republic was a great place to go to discuss all those things with like minded people who also happened to be conservative. I miss that. Miss it a lot.
