* Smile *
Thanks, Jaycee. Today’s Opener is from 2004 ... and used again in 2005.
I thought since it was good then, everyone might enjoy it again now.
Happy Warm Fuzzy Wednesday.
It is amazing really. Wish I could retain all that I learn. She has recently retired, but the studies are available. It took 2 years to study Hebrews, 2 years to study Daniel, 1 Samuel, 2 Samuel, 2 years, Revelations, 2 years, Judges was one year, Romans 2 years, James, Jude is one page and tool 5 full weeks. if I remember correctly, just finished Joshua, I missed one or two.
Wonderful. I recommend them to all that want to know and understand God's word. I could take them all again and learn as much as I did the first time. It is line upon line and precept upon precept.
As for me I can not absorb it all in one study, even a very in depth two years at a time study. As Paul says ... 'What so ever thing are true, good ...'
Philippians 4:8
King James Bible (Cambridge Ed.)
“Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.”

reminds me of my Mothers adage ... "if you can not say something nice or good about a person place or thing, do not say anything." She actually lived this. I was grown before I realized it, about her.
In this bombastic world this is more difficult all the time.
I started making the windchimes about five years ago when I found a website with plans and charts for the length of each tube for a specific musical note. Sold a bunch to mrsdd’s co-workers and made some for friends and family.
Most of those sold were painted solid colors and the stars and stripes chimes were mostly given away. Two years ago I made 14 stars and stripes sets for Gold Star families who attended the So San Joaquin Republican dinner/meeting.
Also sent a set to our nephew when he was serving in Afghanistan. He hung it outside the command post while he was there. It took a real beating from the strong winds that blew. He return it to me when he came home. Paint is all chipped but I hung it near our front door as a reminder to remember our troops.
I haven’t made very many lately but decided to make a set for my dr for two reasons. 1. He is an Air Force Veteran and 2. He saved my life.
My mother said the same thing, “If you can’t say something
nice about a person, do not say anything.” Thats a good
thing to teach our kids today. I sorta have done the same
things for my kids when they were growing up, as my mother did for me!
Do you go to your Bible class weekly?? Sounds like a great
thing to do! Most of us “just don’t have the time”...know
what I mean? It really is we do not work it into our lives
as we should all do. I admire your faithfulness very much!
ha Ha Ha! Love it!
LOL
