LOL
The perfect solution.
Thank you, Jaycee. I did the frame some time ago ... not sure whether I can do it agan. LOL
A few years ago, our Bible-study leader challenged us to memorize a chapter of the Bible and recite it to the group. Internally, I began to protest and groan. An entire chapter, in front of everyone? Memorization had never been my thing; I cringed as I imagined long silences while everyone watched me, waiting for the next words.
A few days later, I reluctantly leafed through my Bible, looking for a set of verses to learn by heart. Nothing seemed right until I landed in Philippians 4.
I read this verse in silence, Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God (v.6). Thats when I knew which chapter to memorize, and how to walk away from my anxiety about the assignment.
God does not want us to agonize over future events, because worry paralyzes our prayer life. The apostle Paul reminds us that instead of fretting, we should ask God for help. When we continually take this approach to anxiety, Gods peace will guard our hearts and minds (v.7).
Someone once said tongue-in-cheek, Why pray when you can worry? The point is clear: Worry gets us nowhere, but prayer gets us in touch with the One who can handle all of our concerns.
Read: Philippians 4:1-9
What a wonderful lesson, Rus..Thank you!
I agree, all to often lately I have fit right in to the category. Then it dawns on me, why worry, Pray and it helps and works.
Missed Wed, where did the day go? OH, I know I was on the couch with the fan blowing on the new skin fold infection.
And I think I’ve had a skin rash reaction to the Chem stress test red splotches all over my torso from back of neck, sides to upper ab.
Matthew 6
27 Can any of you by worrying add a single moment to your lifespan?
.Anxiety freezes..Prayer frees us to continue on.
I hope you get some relief from the discomfort! Soon!
Thank you ladies, for the beautiful opening and poetry of
love! Going on errands and will see you later. Have a
wonderful Thursday!
Oh my goodness, what wonderful news, Amy! I thought I was having a dream....LOL!!

Thank you, Jaycee.
Hopefully I will have the Holiday Post posted when you finish your errands.
Have a Terrific Thursday.
LOL
Not a dream .... I’m looking forward seeing new improved graphics. :)
Dear American Taxpayer
For only the second time in my adult life, I am not ashamed of my country. I want to thank the hard working American people for paying $242 thousand dollars for my vacation in Spain .
My daughter Sasha, several long-time family friends, my personal staff and various guests had a wonderful time.
Honestly, you just haven't lived until you have stayed in a $2,500.00 per night private 3-story villa at a 5-Star luxury hotel.
Thank you also for the use of Air Force Two and the 70 Secret Service personnel who tagged along to be sure we were safe and cared for at all times. By the way, if you happen to be visiting the Costa del Sol , I highly recommend the Buenaventura Plaza restaurant in Marbella ; great lobster with rice and oysters! I'm ashamed to admit the lobsters we ate in Martha's Vineyard were not quite as tasty, but what can you do if you're not in Europe , you have to just grin and bear it?
Air Force Two (which costs $11,351 per hour to operate according to Government Accounting Office reports) only used 47,500 gallons of jet fuel for this trip and carbon emissions were a mere 1,031 tons of CO2.
These are only rough estimates, but they are close. That's quite a carbon footprint as my good friend Al Gore would say, so we must ask the American citizens to drive smaller, more fuel efficient cars and drive less too, so we can lessen our combined carbon footprint.
I know times are hard and millions of you are struggling to put food on the table and trying to make ends meet. So I do appreciate your sacrifices and do hope you find work soon.
I was really exhausted after Barack took our family on a luxury vacation in Maine a few weeks ago. I just had to get away for a few days.
Cordially,
Michelle (Moochelle) Obama
P.S. Thank you as well for the $2 BILLION dollar trip to India from which we just returned!
P.P.S. Thank you, too, for that vacation trip to Martha's Vineyard; it was fabulous.
And thanks for that second smaller jet that took our dog Bo to Martha's Vineyard so we and the children could have him with us while we were away from the White House for eleven days. After all, we couldn't take him on Air Force One because he might pee on some wires or something.
P.P.P.S Oh, I almost forgot to say thanks also for our two-week trip to Hawaii at Christmas. That 7,000 square foot house was great!
P.P.P.P.S. don't forget my ski trip to Vail this winter and now the girls and I are in Africa with my mom. All this while Barack golfs and campaigns to keep my trips coming for the next 4 years !
Love Ya!Remember, we all have to share the pain of these economic times equally!
Love to -redistribute- share- the wealth.
Cool!
Where’s the barf alert!!! LOL!
I love my country, but I have NEVER been so ashamed of the
occupiers of the white house!! They have insulted every
decent predecessor that has lived there!
