Several weeks ago I received a letter addressed to "Resident." Inside was a 28-page American Community Survey form in which I was supposed to reveal to the government every detail about my life. Today, "Resident" received it again along with a threatening letter requiring me to complete the survey.
I intend to chuck this one, too.
Has anyone else had this experience?
“The American Community Survey (ACS) is an ongoing survey that provides data every year — giving communities the current information they need to plan investments and services. Information from the survey generates data that help determine how more than $400 billion in federal and state funds are distributed each year. “
The information is used to gerrymander as many voting districts as possible to assure the ruling elite stay in power.
We have fun with the census people. I still have my 2000 long form census laying around here somewhere, and the 2010.
When they come to our house we make funny faces at them through the windows..... LOL!
You left out the part about the non-voluntary organ donation...
Just do a google video search for “Christopher Walken census” and I’m sure you’ll find it. It’s up at a number of sites.
Somebody should do a “Hitler finds out another Freeper refused to fill out a long-form census” video.
I'd tell them I spend it all on porn.
Found it - er - very confusing. So I'm afraid I gave some very confusing answers! Heard nothing further.
Yeah I have I sent it back to them with the all the questions answered “NONE OF FU*KING BUSINESS”. They did not like that answer & came to the apartment (this is while I was working nights ) & woke me up at what was my 3:00 a.m. . I answered the door dressed in a bath robe carrying a .45 auto asking what the F*CK they wanted and they had a real interesting look on their faces . Haven’t been pestered by the douche bags since.

Yeah but just last year they admitted to helping in the round up & internment of Japanese -Americans in WWII so take that claim of confidentiality with a grain of salt .
I dutifully completed my survey.
Unfortunately, the only thing I could find to write with was a thick, black, permanent marker. Some of my answers might have been slightly unreadable.
But, I completed it and sent it in. Someone called about it and I told them I already did it. Never heard from anyone again.
Game the system. Respond that you are Hispanic, have 4 children, only 1 bathroom, etc. You get the picture. The liberals in government give money to those communities “best served” and we all know that is racist lingo for black and hispanic.
I like it! Perhaps I’ll use that next time.
If you answer anything other than how many people live in the home you are making a mistake because you show that you are in fact willing to participate in surveys .
You are required to answer that by law. If I received it, I’d lie on it.

There are a LOT of great solutions on this thread. But I like this one the best! You sly dog!
