Boy! Did I EVER miss my nap! LOL! I was really drooping come 3:30 or so when I normally shut down the computer and snooze! :)
I actually saw a few wildflowers in the median of the road that I travel to work on. Not many, but an improvement over last year’s zero flowers because of the drought.
Man! It’s so good to see you chatting away in here again! :)
Pray that you are continuing to improve daily! (((hugs)))
My daughter said last year there were just a few bluebonnets and they were lighter blue..They are vivid blue this year...and in some places like a blue river winding through the hills and trees.
I saw my first ever vivid pink Indian paintbrush. I thought they were always orange red.
I missed my nap, too...but packing and touring for more bluebonnets when we left the house kept me alert..I’m sure I’ll sleep well tonight.
Prayers up for Meg!
Glad to “see” you Meg.
(((HUGS)))
I pray you are healing and less sore, Dave.
I’m glad to “see” you, too.
I just lost my internet connection last night at my daughter’s house..I am home now and all is well..
Thank you for your prayers..A prayer is never wasted!
Ahhh...all that blue sounds heavenly!....and the smell good, too! :)
I think both of us are gonna crash and burn before too much longer!
My SIL took me to place he saw while golfing yesterday ..it was pscked with bluebonnets..I opened the car door and immediately smelled the perfume. The wind has to be blowing the right direction to smell them. I never realized they had a perfume.
You can tell ..I am crazy about wildflowers..LOL.
They knew it and therefore came by and kidnapped me last Saturday night on their way home from Houston.
;o)
It had been a good back day so I threw things in a bag..and off I went.( I paid..”The Back” hates it when I am having fun.)
That was such a wonderful surprise/gift that they gave you by taking you away!
I guess ibuprofen...or something of that nature....will be your friend till the back shuts up. Meanwhile, remember that scent! :)
Ahhhhhhhh.........
We Love you! Thanking God All is Well.
(((((Goodnight, Dear FRiends)))))
Our Lord Grant us All a Peaceful and Restful Night.

That is a beautiful meadow, or someones planted yard...:O) brings a smile to one’s face...
I too thought that was a great message to share so I'm glad you liked it.
Still praying for you and the easing of your pain. So glad there is no sign of cancer. PTL!
(I went hunting for your FB page but alas...came up empty handed.)
When Tarah was in high school, she had a growing fear that she would someday battle a serious illness. So she began to prayasking God to spare her from this imagined illness. Then she reached a turning point in her thinking, and she yielded her future to God no matter what.
Years later, Tarahs doctor found a cancerous tumor, which was successfully treated with chemotherapy. Tarah says that because she had entrusted her future to God, she was ready when the disease came. Her problem became an avenue for Gods strength.
This idea of surrendering to God can be seen in Pauls life as well. His surrender came after the problema thorn in the fleshhad developed (2 Cor. 12:7). Paul prayed repeatedly about this difficulty, pleading for the Lord to take it from him. But God responded, My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness (v.9). Understanding this, Paul adopted a positive view: Most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. . . . For when I am weak, then I am strong (vv.9-10).
In facing our fears and struggles, its vital that we yield totally to God. When we do, God can use our problems as an avenue for His power.
Read: 2 Corinthians 12:1-10
Beautiful message, Rus..Thank you!
