Sometime between today, February 24th and election day, November 6th, the world, as we currently know it, will begin to unravel. The crisis will be real and it will be global in nature. It may start with a pre-emptive attack on Iran by Israel that spreads rapidly with worldwide destruction; or it may begin as $10 a gallon gasoline prices paralyze the U.S. economy; or it may begin with several U.S. states declaring insolvency and the European Union collapsing. But it will happen, and it will be catastrophic. And when it happens Barack Hussein Obama will declare the suspension of the Constitution, the suspension of the national election, and his intention to remain in power as President,... indefinitely.
Who will stop him? Who can stop him? The answer is no one can and no one will. He has already violated the Constitution and not a single voice was raised in opposition. Boehner and the House Republicans are powerless. No one will raise the the possibility of impeachment. And even if they did Harry Reid controls the Senate and would never allow it to be voted on.
The military? No military leader would dare oppose him or attempt a military takeover of the country. The Justice Department? Holder would endorse Obama's takeover. The citizenry? A revolt would be put down hard. Thousands would be killed and imprisoned.
The sad reality is that NO one person or group will be able to stop him. If he's smart enough he will 'manufacture' the crisis behind the scenes. But clearly, the current instability of the U.S. and the world may provide him with exactly the crisis he will need to assume the role of dictator for.......life?
And five minutes later, the White House will be surrounded by tanks, and Obama will be under arrest.
I know. McCain was 15 points ahead until Soros collapsed the world economy for Obama.
Not going to happen.

I think Doc’s assessment of the military is just fine. Do you think our current crop of spineless gernerals who support gays in the military, support Bible burnings, and yet apologize to the Noble People of Afghanistan would OPPOSE any unconstitutional moves by Zero?
The thread posits no election and suspension of the Constitution. I ask how many empty Democrap seats would be needed to insure a (so far feckless) republican majority, so the enemy-in-chief could be Constitutionally impeached and removed. Doc Savage has posed a nasty scenario, but he misses the several alternate paths Americans can follow.
The pain we experienced in his first term will be a walk in the park compared to what he has in store for us over the next five years. We (as a country) are willingly doing it to ourselves though.
Many of the comments so far try to fit our current circumstance into those of past administrations. I submit that there is little in this country’s past to prepare us for Obama. He is as unconventional as any WH resident we have ever had in the history of this country. There is a reason for this, which we do not yet fully comprehend. His untouchable status is much more than that he is black. When he said he had five more years to complete his objectives, he disclosed facts of a plan that we have yet to discover. Note he was off teleprompter when he made that slip.

I have raised my voice but nobody listens. I sent barack an email along with numerous members of CONgress. I espouse him unconstitutional acts everyday and nobody seems to care or either they are afraid of what will happen if they speak up. I am in the military and not allowed to say certain things in public but lately I’ve been pushing those boundaries. Nothing has happened to me YET.
I disagree - German Generals under Hitler were about to do just that, and Obama is no where near as slick as Hitler.
I do not doubt there is a group of them aware of the situation and ready to depose him and, like General Washington before them, will turn the reigns of power over to civs ASAP.

While generals issue orders it is those of us “in the trenches” that carry them out. From talking to several others I have come to a conclusion that the military (at least where I am) will not follow certain orders. I myself will espouse that certain orders are unconstitutional and communicate that to as many Soldiers as I can.

I beg to differ. The military takes an oath to protect the Constitution.
If any POTUS moves to suspend the US Constitution, our military will move to “protect” it. Count on it.

And he will immediately lose the support of the military, over half of congress, most (if not all) of the state governments and well over half the citizens of the country. Heck, even a lot of Dems would abandon him, if not for the right reasons, at least out of fear such a stunt would destroy the DEM party for good and wreck their gravy train (because they would *know* he wouldn’t be able to pull it off).
In the *direst* of situations, I just don’t see this as a possibility at all. He may be a socialist/commie/statist/muzzie-born-joke, but he is *not* a psychopath. At the *very* least, his mental state would be immediately called into question and we would have to tolerate saying “President Biden” for a brief period until the next election.
Just my thoughts on the scenario.
The military will not back such a takeover. Their oath is to the Constitution, not the President. Many police departments & state law enforcement agencies will actively oppose the Obama takeover. Governors will rebel & ignore Obama edicts while loudly calling for his arrest.
The Justice Dept. lacks the troops necessary to control widespread riots. Obama could take & hold little more territory than Washington, DC. Many federal agents would quietly rebel against Obama. I doubt even the Secret Service would support an Obama takeover.
In the end, I think the military would remove Obama from office, along with those in Congress who block impeachment.
The bottom line is: Obama doesn't have enough gun totters on his side, & the vast majority would be against him.

True! Vote-fraud can’t succeed when the actual/true vote is overwhelmingly in favor of a candidate. Vote-fraud requires a very close count to succeed.

Obama’s friends George Soros and Warren Buffet helped generate the 2012 Banking Crisis which resulted in Obama being elected on his ludicrous Hope and Change mantra. I would not put anything past those three thugs.
The narcissist president surely views the pending election as a ‘coup attempt under color of law’. However, as a physical coward, he is probably not inclined to put himself in a situation fraught with so much risk. Much better to be a life-long member of the President’s Club and have the Left forever moan over what might have been.
He doesn’t like being president because that’s an ‘American’ thing. He does enjoy being a dictator, however. I think the OWS (0bama’s White Slaves) movement was anticipated to grow to epic proportions, serving as the “national civilian security force” which 0bama mentioned in a speech in Ohio. They were intended to be 0bama’s civilian re-election team, reaping havoc at the polls, etc.. The OWS movement has fizzled with only occasional flare-ups. Otherwise, 0bama’s October surprise could be the naming of a female VP to replace Biden, perhaps Hillary, Jarret, Pelosi or the quintessential POLITICAL HACK Debbie “WhatsHerName” Schulz.
If you suspend the Constitution, there is no law, and nothing is illegal ...
Although, certain people have taken certain oaths, which would hopefully oblige them to strike a swift and decisive blow to forestall widespread loss of life in Civil War II. Others might misunderstand their oath and, hence, not need to know their grandchildren.
