I'm not even bring out the Gaydar meter for Joshua because he's just so darned good.
Now let’s talk about beautiful a minute.
This past week a nest of cardinals hatched and there’s the red fellow so handsome, his lady love, a reddish-buff beauty, and the children.... So okay, the baby cardinals need to grow some feathers. But they’ll be beautiful.
BUT IT GETS BETTER!
I’m eating dinner in front of my sliding glass door to my deck. got a couple bird feeders out there.
So guess who comes by to munch some seed?
AN INDIGO BUNTING!!!!
Oh dear Lord my chin dropped to the floor and I didn’t breathe for almost five minutes.
This bird is all inky blue with pretty wipe stripiing on its wings. Beautiful, breathtakingly beautiful.
I thanked God for letting me see all His gorgeous creatures so up close.
Yeah, it is a good group this year.
Isn’t that one in front, all stretched out, just adorable!
Josh is guaranteed a good career no matter what happens from here on out.
I don’t much care for him (seems a little repititous for my likes), but I have to admit he is on key and sings like a pro.
But I am not liking this rendition of this song.
QUIT SCREAMING EVERY SONG, JOSHUA!
Joshua is too over the top for me. He just can’t seem to restrain himself.
But I am not liking this rendition of this song.
Started out promising. Finished Screamtasia......
IM with you kiddo! :-) I have had the same couple of Cardinals here for several years, and a couple of bluebirds and their offspring as well..last count 12 bluebirds
I spend hours watching them and I dont care who you are...if you can look out on nature and Gods glorious creation and NOT belive................you are beyond help!
Joshua is just confused....he thought the sayin once you go black you never go back was actually......once you go back it’s ok if you are black
Steven Tyler made a career out of doing that. Joshua is a throwback to Otis Redding and James Brown. Even if you hate motown, you have to appreciate his talent.
best singer in 50 years???OMG...Bee Gees are better
Phillips is the bottom this week and should go. Its time.
“Best singer in 50 years!”
Really? Puh-lease.
I could understand Paula easier than I can figure out what JLo is talking about.
The thing about J Lo is that she demands to be heard over the other two. At least goofy Paula would shut up after a while.
You’re right.
And I don’t know how much influence those judges have but I’m sure they have some. It’s part of human nature. They sit in a position, however tenuous, of , well, judgement, and are perceived as experts on the matter, but of course.
Now when Simon was around I think the judges were more on the mark with their critiques. With Steven Tyler lost in some drug haze somewhere and Jlo around to sell clothes and Randy who’s probably the most objective...well I dunno.
For whatever reason they’ve been hyping this Jessica and I know with all my heart and soul that Simon Cowell would have been complaining about Jessica and her stilted stage presence.
AI is about performers as much as singers and America sent Jessica home once but the judges, they know best.
They remind of the Blue Blood GOP, who know, KNOW I TELL you, that you must have a Bob Dole, a John McCain, a Romney in your life.
I’m still mad at Comcast by the way.
Joshua gave a great performance. Everybody did better tonight than Jessica tonight. Except maybe Phillip.
For sure. He was terrible this week.
In the pimp spot with the Bee Gees "To Love Somebody". He Mantasias it up half way through, screaming and grunting.
The crowd loves it. The judges--all three--give him a standing-o.
But I've heard better from him.
Randy: Let's give a big shout-out to Robin Gibb who's battling an illness. The fact that you never heard and deliver it with that much passion. You're experienced way beyond your years. You're one of the best singers ever on this show.
J-Lo: There's so few people who can perform that way. It's been years since we've heard anything like that. (compares him to James Brown)
Steven: You are such a great artist. That would have been a hit record right there. That's how good you are.
The Bee Gees were among the best ever. “I’ve gotta get a message to you.” and 1941 Mining Disaster” (Have you seen my wife Mr. Jones) were true classics in the 60s. Joshua is a soul singer and a good producer will make him a star.
