Duet #1
Elise and Phillips sing Somebody I Used To Know by Gotye. The pre-taped introduction to this is pretty funny. Elise chose this song and it seems to have personal meaning to her. "I think of all the times you screwed me over!"
Never heard this song before--it's pretty good. And they sing it well together.
Steven: I've got that song looped on my iphone. Listen to it for hours. Great rendition. That song is changing music right now. Good for your for picking it.
J-Lo: You were right when you said Elise was going to sing the mess out of that--she did! Love the chemistry between you too. There really is something there.
Randy: Great song. But I gotta give it to Elise.
Phillips: She's just a better singer.
Elise and the audience say no, no. Randy says next time they have a duet, Phillips should pick the song.

That intro scared me. I thought they were gonna say they changed their mind and were going to save Deandre.... LOL

The interesting thing is that the girls part about screwing over comes later in the song. So they definitely arranged this duet to feature Elise.

Me neither, but for the most part I stopped listening to current music around 1974 (with a few exceptions in the mid-1980s)...
When Curt Cobain died I had no idea who he was.

Welcome back! :)
Please tell me the show is only an hour tonight.
Nope. It's two hours of awesomeness! *
*I might be overselling it a little ;)

Don’t like Sanchez’s song.

Whatever song this is, it sampled “Georgia” heavily (as in a total rip off).
She’s swallowing her words — so many kids do that on this show.

Question: Am I the only one cocking my head like the RCA Victor dog, trying to understand the lyrics Jessica is attempting to stutter?
