A man accused of flying into a rage when staff at Wendys got his order wrong has criticised the way police handled the situation.
Auckland man David Ilolahia was charged with threatening behaviour, assaulting police, disorderly behaviour and resisting police after the incident at the Lynfield store.
The 35-year-old told the New Zealand Herald he had placed an order at the drivethrough on Friday morning for a Baconator with no bacon, a fish burger and a Triple Combo.
Something must be wrong with the people from New Zealand, has to be standing upside-down.
Well guess some village is missing it’s idiot?
Maybe he was drunk, too.<<<
Heh, bet he didn’t get free refills, either.
Can we just blame the internet? I mean, this weird stuff previously happened all the time, even before we could instantly know about it, right? Right? This south-of-the-equator stuff surely slipped under the radar, what with their being upside-down and all.
I don’t think there is anything racial about this. Some people — white, black, Asian, whatever — just can’t control their tempers. I knew someone in high school who smashed the drive-through window of a McDonalds because they didn’t get his order right. He was a hothead who could never control his temper. People like this usually end up in jail or some other trouble through out their lives unless they learn to control themselves.
True. I suppose there’s more crazy hoomin activity than there once was, simply because there are more people, but there are also more ways of finding out about it.
On the other hand, I suspect storms, earthquakes, and so on have remained pretty constant in their incidence. The only change is that they affect more people, and more people are aware.
[Bill Foster picks up the flat hamburger he just ordered, comparing it to the picture behind the counter]
Bill Foster: It's plump, juicy, three inches thick. Look at this sorry, miserable, squashed thing. Can anybody tell me what's wrong with this picture?
The word “Baconator” means “to terminate bacon”. He should have ordered the “Baconenabler”.
I don’t know why this clown didn’t do what my wife always does whenever she gets a wrong order from a ffood restaurant: get on the phone, call the place, ask for the manager, and then ream him or her out for getting the order wrong. Always results in a free meal for my wife.
How is that any different from how we treat our pampered minorities?
He was probably an Aussie...

Maoris are entitled AND disproportionately very violent.
It’s probably not as good as it looks, but I could get my son to make me one that is as good as it looks ...
Was he mad that he just got a double?
,,, have you got the time to listen?
